Weekend 2

Stadium tour is being announced Thursday and based on the teaser puzzle, no SoCal date. Is it possible he headlines? What does the sub think of him? Don't really see his name tossed around much but he pulls huge numbers and is the only artist with two stable top 10 albums for months. Doesn't seem like Coachella vibe but who knows? Would be so happy if so.
EDIT: Stars are semi-confirmed by stadiums posting IG stories tonight. The original teaser was blank. Some fan filled in the possible cities! I know it says Inglewood at top as a possibility but it doesn't fit into any of the 9 space cities below because of the confirmed cities.

VOL 1? No way this isn’t turning into a tour or Coachella appearance. Would love this at Sahara at sunset.

Fountains of Wayne recently reunited and have played a few solo/festival shows but not a full on tour until today’s announcement that they will be opening for Weezer in Australia & New Zealand early next year. Would be cool to see them at the desert in April before they eventually embark on a US tour

Hi we are planning to go to Coachella with about 5-8 people (still not confirmed), I usually stay in Joshua tree and drive over but the drive is too much after a long day... Rancho 51 had a lot of good reviews on here. Anyone who has stayed at rancho 51: Is it worth it to get the beds or should I save $1000 to set up my own beds? It says that it's an additional $79 per person... do they check? or would I be able to just buy the campsite without adding people? Also any honest reviews on rancho 51? Thanks!

They played 6 sold out shows last year and they were great. Now they're doing this tour without a Southern California show and a big gap for the festival. They dropped an album during COVID but their drummer passed away and it seemed like they were gone forever.
If you wanted to be negative, they just played LA in May and are also not playing Chicago which is more or less their hometown.

LA dates outside of the radius clause.
No SF dates could mean they’re saving it to play one of the weekends.

Usually has some crossover
Last year: Ethel Cain, Jack White (surprise), NewDad, Model/Actriz,
2025: Djo, Glass Beams, Kneecap, The Dare, Fcukers

We’ll see if this means a springboard into an entirely new festival or if it’s totally over and done with.
But given their founders walked away when KKR took over, and boycotts dropped profits, my suspicion is the latter.

I'm actually devastated. I was really hoping for brakence especially since the recent years they've had hyperpop artists like underscores and jane remover

Looks like they’re on tour with Interpol with no west coast dates. They did play Coachella back in 2016

Bring the Flaming Lips back to the desert for the first time in 22 years!!! They put on a ridiculously fun show and deserve to play the Outdoor stage during golden hour!

She just announced a handful of shows and has a to be announced date on a seemingly west coast mini tour, skipping LA. Iirc radius clause doesn’t cover SF?
Her debut album just released and it’s pretty great, I recommend checking it out too!
