After striping it down to a bare frame and endless bodywork I finally did my first paintjob, feels like a huge milestone. Figured you guys might appreciate it

For context he’s a big truck guy, he’s got atvs, snowmobiles, jet skis and just loves to be outside in general. For work he’s a heavy equipment operator as well as a mason. I’m looking to get him something for his truck or quad, and I’m willing to spend about 1k-1.8k. Truly I just want to get him something that he would love and actually use. He drives a 05 Chevy Silverado 1500 and he could use a lift kit (I think he said 4inch, I’ll have to double check), he likes the mud grapplers, he’s already got rock lights. I thought about maybe getting a cam but I have no idea how I’d even get ahold of that, let alone know it’s the right fit or one he wants. One thing he did ask for was a light up Chevy bow tie emblem but I’ve searched what feels like everywhere and can’t find one for anything older than a 2016.
I dont know if this is allowed so if not I apologize. I’m just getting kinda desperate as I’m at a loss of what to do

I installed an evil energy cold air intake on my 2015 silverado 1500 5.3 and it now has these 3 codes

Flowmaster 40 series muffler stock resonator and an evil energy cold air intake. i’m assuming that’s what the lights are from

First time parking next to a newer Colorado. It still blows my mind how much mid size trucks have grown. My 05 is an extended cab, 6ft bed, torsion keys cranked up an inch or more.

So I have a 2000 Chevy 1500, 5.3 with 253,742 I recently did my oil change at 250k . I use conventional 5w-30 and a O’rileys MC filter and put a bottle of Lucas with the 5qts oil. I also changed the oil pressure sensor with one from O’rileys at the same time as my oil change. A little extra info my gauge cluster isn’t stock it’s an aftermarket color and the backlights are starting to go out , but no other gauge acts the same as this one does in the video . Only codes on truck are p0453 , and p0452 which advice on possible fixes would be appreciated

Does anyone know the paint code for this panel? I am doing rust repair on my truck and plan to repaint it and I was thinking of doing this colour. Panel is off a 80s suburban or possibly an early GMT 400

On a 5.3 how do I get this wire off the starter without breaking the clips? Seems inevitable

Hey y’all, I recently bought a 2024 Silverado 2500 and the radio is driving me batshit crazy. It keeps dropping the volume randomly. It doesn’t matter if I’m on fm, satellite, or Bluetooth. It even does it when I’m parked. I turned off the auto volume and disconnected my phone. Nothing seems to make it stop. Any advice?
