23 Scat Pack at the old Carousel building
Took my Scat pack down to Asbury park to get a picture of my car infront of the old Carousel building just like The Boss. I think it came out good.

First time challenger owner. Went the right way and got a 2017 Scat/Pack with the T/A package. Is there any special things I should look out for in particular for a challenger like special maintenance?

I bought this 2022 Challenger TA 392 recently with 38k miles. The whole driveshaft and input seal have been replaced by dodge dealer recently.
However there is still a small thumping noise coming from near the transmission.
You can only hear it in Park or in drive when the car is NOT moving. Once the car is moving it drives almost new. The car idles fine. Car has muffler delete and Active exhaust delete - To rule out exhaust noise
Anyone else have this noise?

Just picked up a mint condition 2020 RT Plus with performance/handling packages. Very excited about this car. Been eyeballing "fun" cars for a long time after driving sensible cars for a decade. This weekend I'll give it a full detail and oil change. Looking forward to learning more, this seems like a pretty knowledgeable community. Cheers.

This guy is kind of goofy but man I think he's onto something here. Nobody I'm aware of has noticed this before and it really makes sense.
To summarize the vid/discovery: With the cam change in the '09+ VVT Hemi the lifter upward travel is reduced to the point that the oil band in the lifter no longer overlaps the lifter oil galley. This is greatly reducing oil flow to the lower half of the lifter and thus the roller and needle bearings.
This perfectly explains why pre VVT engines don't suffer lifter failures, and why '09+ non-MDS fail at at least the same rate.
Dodge made a bunch of changes to the lifters over the years. But as far as I'm aware they never changed the oiling band. So it stands to reason that not even Dodge has figure this out.

Put this on around 1k miles and she’s about to cross over 15k miles soon. I think overall has the best tone and that’s hard to nail on muscle cars imo. If you’re on the fence pull the trigger!

After losing my 2009 SRT8 to an accident, I wanted to make sure I got an upgrade. I've always loved the Shaker, and now I can say I have one too. 2022 Scat Pack. About 20k miles.

19000 miles and needed to replace my front tires. The technician at the tire store tried to convince me I also needed the camber and toe adjusted front and rear including aftermarket spacers to the rear. I refused as I'm still under warranty and went to the dealer for evaluation. All is as it came from the factory and I love the way it handles so leaving camber and toe as is.

Been thinking about this since someone in a local car group had their Challenger stolen recently. I've always been more concerned about maintenance and keeping mine in good shape than anything else. Car theft wasn't really something I spent much time worrying about until that happened. Now I'm second guessing whether the factory security is enough. I know these cars get targeted, but I also don't want to get paranoid over every story I see online. Curious what other Scat Pack owners think. Do you feel like the factory setup is enough, or have you taken extra precautions?

Had to run to the next town over to get beer and had some fun ripping around but darn it's is surprising versatile when you have decent roads.

I have a 2019 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Widebody 6.4L HEMI with an automatic transmission.
Last month, I had both my transmission fluid and rear differential fluid changed. I took a road trip afterward, and about 2–3 weeks later, I started noticing a whining noise while driving. I’m not sure if the noise just started recently or if I never paid attention to it before.
The whine gets higher as the RPMs and speed increase, and its pitch seems to change when the transmission shifts gears. It gets quieter in higher gears. When I press the gas, the whine gets louder, and when I let off the gas, the pitch drops before the noise eventually fades away.
I mainly hear it inside the cabin and can’t really pinpoint where it’s coming from. I also can’t hear it when revving the engine in Park.
Could this be normal, or is it possible the transmission or rear differential wasn’t filled to the proper fluid level during the service? Could it be a pulley, transmission bearing, or differential bearing instead?
I’m trying to figure out what to have checked first. Has anyone experienced something similar after getting their fluids changed?

Dashboard brings up a warning that my rear right turn signal is out on startup and every time I brake. The right arrow blinks fast on the interior, but is normal outside
