Hello everyone. I need your opinion lang sa mga nakapag try na or merong mga unit na options ko. Im 27 years old with partner wala pa naman kids and for daily driver ko lang sana. Here are my options and could you include the km/L para alam ko yung fuel efficiency nya 😁

Civic S Turbo 2022 “not RS”
Civic RS turbo 2017
City RS Hatchback 2023

I need your opinion lang between the three. Least favorite ko si city rs but pwede nyo mabago insights ko about that car. Hindi naman sila nagkakalaro sa price gaano.

general query Did Peugeot pull out of the Philippines? Are there any other branches still operating?

Hello people! I was planning to view a Peugeot 3008, but when I came back to Pasig to check it out, the dealership had already been replaced by Mazda. Even the QC Ave branch seems to have switched to a different brand. I saw another Peugeot dealership in San Fernando, but it's a bit far, and I'm not sure if it's still open.

Did Peugeot pull out of the Philippines? Are there any other branches still operating? What happened?

- BR-V S CVT

- Xpander GLS

- Avanza G

- XL7

Bakit ito sila? nagcheck ako halos 1m-1.1m lang sila with discount, the BRV-S can go as low as flat 1m.

- Vehicle load? Me and my wife, 3 kids, siguro madalas ko din isasama mom ko since never pa kami nakagala since ngayon palang lumuwag luwag sa buhay. So 3 adults and 3 kids

Ano po kaya ang pinakasulit?

1m-1.1m Budget

Maraming salamat!

general query Parallel parking lot/space worth it or settle with the usual ones instead

Post image
• Upvotes

Need some quick thought/s, I am casually shopping for a parking slot in some nearby condominiums around Greenfield Mandaluyong. I was able to snipe one after a couple of inquiries, mixed from agents and current owners.

Papers, arrears, everything's settled and well. I was also given an installment scheme so that's a bonus.

My only kind of letdown is that, it's a parking slot that faces the wall. Though the wall is fence type but still, fact that it requires parallel maneuvering + the inconvenience of tight space on the driver's side due to the said wall, not to mention that it's within the driveway ( as per the yellow arrow ) and is vulnerable to possible bumps from turn miscalculations, means it could be more headache than convenience/ease.

I can't find much feedback online hence this. Hope that I've blurred/doodled the photo enough so that it can only be used as a reference/idea.

Thanks in advance for any sentiment. P.S. my vehicle is a long SUV around the size of an Explorer

general query Barangay Permits for Ebikes (yes or no?)

• Upvotes

As an individual who cycles between a car, motorcycle, and an electric scooter across my daily commute to university, I have almost came into close call accidents both in which I either witness a group of individuals or myself got involved. It was mostly due to these reckless Ebikes with them jerking turns and full 180 maneuvers all of a sudden.

Somewhere around my University there are roads that are one way entry and every single time I will encounter an ebike fully neglecting road limitations. And I have even almost got ran over by a Ceres because I was caught offguard going around a blind curve an Ebike was counter-flowing a one way road.

Who should be held accountable when these drivers carry no license, no permits, no any sort of validity that they are well and capable of driving the streets and carry passengers in their sidecarts. Until when do we entrust the children and students to these individuals who don't even follow basic traffic rules. I would like to propose that these permits are to be given only when an individual is proven to be knowledgeable of basic traffic rules.

general query bumped my parent’s car in the garage with my new car

• Upvotes

context: our garage is quite steep since basement style sya. got the car a few months ago pa lang. thankfully, they’re not mad. they understand naman na nag r-rollback yung car ko pag tanggal ng hand breaks. we’re using little safety bumps para di maulit and wala naman masyadong gasgas car nila since they have an everest tas akin cutie subcompact lang. mas nachip pa nga yung paint sa plate number nila e haha wala naman damage yung body.

question for those na nag r-rollback car nila pag uphill nakapark: pano iwasan/di maulit? di naman ako super new driver, nearly 4 years naman na since i got my license. but hindi talaga ako sanay sa nag r-rollback yung car huhu. would love to know some tips!! first ever accident ko talaga yun and i’m thankful sa bahay since super maingatin naman ako sa daanan. nagulat talaga ako nung nangyare yun for the first time

bibili pa lang ng kotse Buying an EV, but i am not sure how financing works, any advice?

• Upvotes

Bale gusto kong makabili ng EV, i'm thinking of going big and sticking with it for a long time so i wanna get either a BYD Seal 2026 or a Tesla model Y, wala lang nangangarap, hahaha.

Pero for financing the car, i heard that banks are the way to go? But are there other options to consider?

bibili pa lang ng kotse family wants new hilux so much, but not fitting current needs - give up on convincing or bad idea to buy?

hello, i posted a few months ago na anong kotse best fit para saatin, mag-update lang ako tungkol dito, acutally parang okay na ang 7 seater as long as may decent na cargo space na hindi naka-fold ang 2nd row.

pero, my family really wants the hilux, specifically yung E M/T 4x4. nagpipili na lang sila ng kulay, pero ang concern ko ay baka hindi kakasya sa totoong needs na 7 seater at magandang fuel economy. tapos most of the time, hinahatid lang ako sa school at dalawa lang kami, so parang sayang lang ang space at hindi din maganda para sa dpf at 14 km lang every day round trip, pero kapag every sunday naman, lahat kami pupunta sa church at kailangan ng 3rd row, tapos yung hilux 5 seater lang.

i'm considering the rush, pero ayaw nila ang automatic transmission (they want diesel manual). also considering the innova G M/T pero i'm fearing na ang 167 mm ground clearance niya ay not enough para sa steep incline ng garage namin. our other options ay xpander GLX M/T (considering its 225 mm ground clearance, 2 mm higher than our current sportivo) and stargazer X GLS Plus, with honda brv and suzuki apv as other potential options. byd emax 7 and mg g50 phev would be a solid option pero ayaw ni lola mga chinese brands.

car & product reviews What’s the best PPF shop in Mandaluyong?

• Upvotes

Hi guys, planning to get PPF for my car soon. Any recommendations for a good PPF shop around Mandaluyong? Been checking a few shops lately pero ang daming options haha. Not really looking for the cheapest, mas importante sakin yung quality ng installation, materials and aftersales service.

For those na naka PPF na, saan kayo nagpagawa? Would appreciate honest feedback, especially from actual customers.

Thanks guys!

general query Less than a month of owning my car, andami na nangyari.

• Upvotes

Hey guys, so kakabili ko lng ng 2nd hand car this month and kaka 3 weeks palang sakin pero may not so deep gasgas na sa driver side and yung bumper ko eh meron na tama dahil pumunta kmi sa isang lugar na very steep yung daan pagkababa, I think may crack sa area na yun. Di ko alam kung tama ba na kumuha agad ako pero sabi nila normal lng daw yun as a 1st timer.

I have the cash naman to have it repaired pero ask ko lng kung antayin ko ba muna umabot ng 1 year or so bago ipaayos? Naiinis lng ako sa mga nangyari and I learned the hard way. I don’t wanna post the pic kasi baka may mkakilala sakin haha. Also, how much should I prepare kapag ipaayos ko yung mga gasgas and dents na yun? Thanks in advance.

Hi po, ask ko lg if saan prefer nyo? I’m leaning towards the mirage g4 kasi mas recent at lower ang presyo. But I really want the toyota because of the great reputation pero 74km mileage na. Saan mas piliin nyo based on your opinion?

general query Yuasa car battery review / experience? (Amaron currently out of stock in my city)

• Upvotes

Hello everyone!

I drive a 1997 Japanese car. My current battery is an Amaron Hi-Life / Flo, which has lasted 3 years and 11 months, but it’s finally struggling to start the engine.

I wanted to get another Amaron since this one served me so well, but none of the auto shops in my city have Amaron in stock right now.

A local battery seller suggested switching to Yuasa, claiming it lasts just as long. Has anyone here used Yuasa batteries for their car before? How is your experience with reliability and lifespan compared to Amaron?

Any reviews or alternative brand suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

repair query Car repair shop or DIY fix on this electrical issue??

Thanks in advance po.

- checked continuity for the fuses with the battery connected and disconnected
- "10 second up and down hold" on both the main and master, with and without battery.
- yung 10 second hold na with battery, napansin ko na after 10 second down sa main switch, di na siya tumataas, tataas lang siya pag nag down ako doon sa master switch.

things done to electrical before the issue:
- Reconnected a split wire that was connected to the remote lock and unlock, possibly a motor, was probably not the main locking motor as driver side lock switch locks all doors.
- Applied window cleaner from turtle wax(baka may na fry? idk).

bibili pa lang ng kotse Choosing a hybrid car: Need advice for newbie Car Driver

I really want a hybrid one para tipid sa gas because I will be driving mostly in QC, Marikina, BGC areas, and sometimes Antipolo, so super traffic. Occasional out of town trips din. It will be mostly me and my teenage daughter who will use the car daily, but sometimes my senior parents will join too.
Two weeks ago, almost sure na ko sa Yaris cross Hybrid, but when we saw the Ford Territory Titanium Hybrid, napa wow kami. I had a driver-mechanic with me who did the test drive and mas nagustuhan nya idrive si Territory. Mas marami rin features si Territory na feeling ko mas useful for new lady drivers like me. Marami na kong nabasa about Ford being expensive to maintain, pero baka owners of the hybrid territory can give their comments after months or few years of use? Thank you. Your inputs will be very much appreciated. :)

P.S. my child really loves the moon/sunroof. Mahal na yung Corolla Cross na may moonroof so medyo out na sya sa budget.
