The President sent an email midday Tuesday describing changes to commencement starting in May 2027. Part of the email stated:

"We are pleased to confirm that student processions will remain part of our Commencement ceremonies. However, the health and safety of our graduates, guests, faculty, and staff remain our highest priority. If temperatures reach or exceed 90 degrees, or if conditions pose a health risk, we will carefully reevaluate the circumstances and make a final determination on the morning of each ceremony regarding whether the procession can safely proceed."

What’s up y’all! Some of you might remember me posting about tovu, the student marketplace app I’ve been building for CPP. The Poly Post just published an article about it today! It’s honestly crazy seeing something I started over the summer turn into an actual app and now get featured in our school newspaper. Just wanted to share this milestone and thank everyone who’s downloaded tovu, listed something, or given me feedback. Still got a lot of work to do, but I appreciate all the support from the CPP community
Here’s the article:

Had it around my waterbottle that I accidentally left during physics lecture, when I came back only the waterbottle without the bracelet was left. Looks similar to the picture, pink chip bracelet just very worn down. Would honestly pay to get it back, had it for 6+ years and got it with family :/

Hey everyone! i’m a third year engineering student and i’ve never taken EGR1000 😭, I once heard something about if you started college in 2024 you didn’t have to take it but that just doesn’t seem true. I just wanna confirm i still need to take it just to fill in space for my next semester, thank you!

Does anyone know who I can talk to learn more information about this class? Very interested in the cross between biomedical engineering and CFD applications, and I feel as though taking this class as a major elective would be quite beneficial.

I plan on transferring to a cal state to get my b.a. in art history but I am not sure how good the art history program is at cpp. Is anyone apart of it here and would you say it's worth it?

I got a pumpkin from the night at the pumpkin fest event and I feel bad just letting it rot away. if you (or know someone) who'd like a decently sized pumpkin, dm me on insta at whosometea_ .

How is it? i’m in an ultimatum in choosing between UCR or cpp for designated choice of schooling for either EE or comp sci. i’m a comp sci transfer from CSUSB and looking to either stay in comp sci or switching over to EE but can’t decide on the school. i know UCR is a research institute and cpp is more of a hands on type of institution but im not really sure what that means for EE and comp sci? Any good clubs?

I’m a current freshman, and I realized that I’m not that interested in my major (poli sci) I have thoughts about changing it to either criminal justice or criminology I’ve heard they are pretty interesting, but I haven’t met anyone majoring in them to actually get insight on how it is. Can anyone majoring in them give me some insight like how hard the classes are, the main thing they focus on, like too much reading, writing, research etc! I’m mainly looking for a major that will
Improve reading and writing skills while also being interesting and helping to develop skills. I am Pre-Law if that helps and I am open to other majors!

Hey y'all!!

I am a first-year grad student who is thinking about housing for next year. I was curious what other grad students were doing for housing and how early leases start.

Thanks!

Anyone have any information on Dan luo and Donald Kraemer are they good professors how are their class structured? What is there work load consist of?

I only need one more unit to have a full-time student schedule, and I am choosing not to take another GE this semester since I don't think I'd be able to handle one with the other classes I'm taking. So I'm considering taking KIN 1320A since I used to play tennis and it fits in the schedule, Only reason I'm asking about it is becasue its an early morning class and I have classes going till 8 pm, the prof is Marcelo Victorio Bautista. If you've taken the class or have had him as a prof, please let me know about your experience, I'd really appreciate it!

This is a college campus, if you want to continue being ignorant and destroying your campus then please disenroll and do degenerate behavior elsewhere.

Hello, I am taking IBM 3302 Marketing Research with Professor Megan Good. My teammates and I created a short survey to gather insights for New Balance. Any participation would really help us. Thank you!

Stayed late on campus one night and wanted to share some photos I took.

Any agricultural majors here?

Recommendation for professors and which classes not to take same semester. Thanks!

I just wanted to get some insight on a class withdrawal request for compelling reasons I put in 2 weeks ago. The email states I should keep attending the class, but I cannot handle it right now. What should I do? My reasoning was personal issues and financial instability, but I’m just getting more and more worried that the school will reject my request because it’s taken so long. Any and all help would be appreciate. Thank you.

Is attendance mandatory or is the class entirely online? Please advise, thanks!
