The President sent an email midday Tuesday describing changes to commencement starting in May 2027. Part of the email stated:

"We are pleased to confirm that student processions will remain part of our Commencement ceremonies. However, the health and safety of our graduates, guests, faculty, and staff remain our highest priority. If temperatures reach or exceed 90 degrees, or if conditions pose a health risk, we will carefully reevaluate the circumstances and make a final determination on the morning of each ceremony regarding whether the procession can safely proceed."

What’s up y’all! Some of you might remember me posting about tovu, the student marketplace app I’ve been building for CPP. The Poly Post just published an article about it today! It’s honestly crazy seeing something I started over the summer turn into an actual app and now get featured in our school newspaper. Just wanted to share this milestone and thank everyone who’s downloaded tovu, listed something, or given me feedback. Still got a lot of work to do, but I appreciate all the support from the CPP community

How is it? i’m in an ultimatum in choosing between UCR or cpp for designated choice of schooling for either EE or comp sci. i’m a comp sci transfer from CSUSB and looking to either stay in comp sci or switching over to EE but can’t decide on the school. i know UCR is a research institute and cpp is more of a hands on type of institution but im not really sure what that means for EE and comp sci? Any good clubs?

I only need one more unit to have a full-time student schedule, and I am choosing not to take another GE this semester since I don't think I'd be able to handle one with the other classes I'm taking. So I'm considering taking KIN 1320A since I used to play tennis and it fits in the schedule, Only reason I'm asking about it is becasue its an early morning class and I have classes going till 8 pm, the prof is Marcelo Victorio Bautista. If you've taken the class or have had him as a prof, please let me know about your experience, I'd really appreciate it!

I just wanted to get some insight on a class withdrawal request for compelling reasons I put in 2 weeks ago. The email states I should keep attending the class, but I cannot handle it right now. What should I do? My reasoning was personal issues and financial instability, but I’m just getting more and more worried that the school will reject my request because it’s taken so long.
