Coming on down from Tucson this Halloween to Bisbee and was curious what fun stuff is happening?

I’m pregnant so events for parents with kids isn’t ideal and as much as I wish I could, bar crawling isn’t an option 🥲. I enjoy seeing people in costumes if there’s any parades or such. Definitely going on a ghost tour, we did one not on Halloween a few years ago and I loved it because they shared a lot of awesome architectural and historical information. But I didn’t know if the mine rides get a little spooky that weekend as well. Any pop up Halloween market places? Coffee stores with fun Halloween drinks?!

Bisbee is an absolute beautiful and unique town, I can’t wait to see it on Halloween.

Hi all! Looking for a place to produce a high quality, professional comedy show with comedians from Netflix is a Joke Festival, Hulu, and CBS.

We have our own stage, sound system, lights, etc. Just need a backroom or restaurant that's willing to close for a private event. We sell tickets so we don't charge the venue. Obviously, you're the home of the great Doug Stanhope so we gotta bring a great show to you guys.

Any local handyman recommendations? Need someone trustworthy for both big and small jobs- would have long term, consistent work for the right person.

I had a good friend tell me that Bisbee was a nice quiet place to spend the winters that doesn't have a ton of snowbirds.

I'm newer to oil pastels but I really wanted to do a Bisbee inspired piece as it is one of my newer obsessions. I'm hoping to visit someday! I wanted to share with you the art that I did. I have no idea what I'm doing so I just used the pastels like crayons lol. What do you think?

Im from Arizona but have never been is Bisbee. I was recommended to go her during halloween so I’m searching online and I found a few things that seem to happen yearly but a lot of the events I’m finding are from 6+ years ago and I’m wondering if anyone knows any events THIS year. I’m visiting Oct 30th—Nov 1st.
I’ve seen the mile high ranch thing and block party but is that all?

You may have seen my post asking for recourses for my story. A character in it is a Vietnam Vet and comes home to his mine being closed. I'd love to talk to someone about how the Vietnam War affected Bisbee. I want to talk to my local Vet's Hall and get information about pilots. The character is also a Korean War Vet and is in the air force. I know the Vietnam War was mostly a ground war, but I know there were many pilots involved. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

I am a writer and I'm thinking Bisbee will be the setting for one of my stories. The character in it grew up in the 60s and became an adult in the 70s. I know a little bit about the history and the mines going defunct in the 70s. What was Bisbee like before this? What were politics like? Where was the nearest university? I have a lot of questions that are hard to find on Google, and would love a way to learn more about things that aren't common knowledge. I'm reading articles, but my questions go unanswered. Is there a historical society I can get in contact with and ask questions? Does anyone here have grandparents who have told stories? I know about hippies moving in in the 70s and would love to know more about how that had an effect on politics in the town. Thanks in advance!

I’m considering this lot in Mountain Ranch Estates subdivision. How would I go about getting info on restrictions, etc.? It has an HOA (🤢) so maybe it has covenants? I don’t want to end up in HOA hell or jail. Would going through the municipality be best or the county? Gracias in advance!

So, I did a thing and let loose a thing in time for Hotelia 2026. *Hotelia 2025* consists of three tracks recorded during last year's Hotelia event. Cheap as chips.

I might be moving to Bisbee in a month or two. I have family helping me out with a place to live, and I’ll need to find a job asap. The only work I’ve ever done is retail, so my question is, do you think it’s easy to find work at the big box stores in sierra vista? I would love to work in Bisbee proper, or Lowell/Warren area, but I would imagine those jobs are hard to come by. Any advice would be great! Big changes make nervous, but I can’t afford to stay where I am, so this move is probably my only option.

The CigArt machine is a publicly available art dispenser in Old Bisbee, made from the decommissioned cigarette machine. Artworks are approximately the dimensions of a cigarette pack and cost $20, which is mostly paid to the artist.

Last year saw the first HOTELIA, with occasional HOTELIA weekends (there were supposed to be twelve, only two happened) that were setup.

Basically, the owner of Hotel La More/Bisbee Inn hands over most of the rooms to performers and artists of all kinds, and lets chaos rip. Last year saw Unkle Dill and his clown crew, photographer/model/burlesque performer Sarah Slaykitty and her crew, artist/poet Ken Boe, myself arriving late to shake the hotel with music and also wearing my poet's hat (backing Ken's readings as well), a live painting to Ken and I by Cathead Reynolds, lighting shenanigans, and even an impromptu fetish party that I magnificently slept through.

This year we have me arriving early, Ken, Sarah, Unkle Dill and crew, and lots more, including drop-ins. The rooms open from 8-10pm, though some of us might have open doors at other times, visitors can wander through the place whenever, and there'll be a more or less an open house Friday-Sunday.

The hotel also overlooks Brewery Gulch, so you know it's going to get riotous at times.

Hi all, what's going on with the blasting noises tonight? Sounds like fireworks but coming from north on Arizona street. Any ideas? Is this part of the reclamation efforts? Seems odd to have it going so late.

Otherwise, enjoy the nice cool rain smell night.
