Looking for some freelance sales work

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some freelance work for the next few weeks and thought I’d put this out here.

I’ve worked in sales across edtech, wellness and sports, mainly handling lead generation, cold calls, follow-ups and conversations with potential clients. I can help with finding leads, reaching out to prospects, setting up meetings or just giving a business some extra support with sales.

I’m available for 4–6 hours a day and would prefer paid projects, either on a fixed fee or a fixed fee plus incentives.

If you know any startups or small businesses that need help with sales, or have suggestions on where I can find such projects, let me know. Happy to connect!

Thanks!

I work in business development at a video production house. How do you actually get clients?

Hey everyone,

I work in business development at a video production house, and I'm struggling to figure out how to consistently bring in new clients.

I've been trying the usual methods:

  • Reaching out to people on LinkedIn
  • Sending cold emails
  • Making cold calls
  • Using Apollo to find leads and contact information
  • Trying to connect with potential clients online

But honestly, nothing seems to be working. People don't respond to my emails or LinkedIn messages, and most of the time, they don't pick up calls either. Even after using Apollo to find potential prospects, I'm struggling to convert those leads into actual conversations or meetings.

I want to understand how people in video production, creative agencies, or other B2B service businesses actually get clients.

A few things I'd love advice on:

  • Which tools or platforms do you use to find potential clients?
  • How do you identify companies that genuinely need video production services?
  • What kind of cold emails or LinkedIn messages actually get responses?
  • How do you use Apollo effectively for lead generation?
  • Are there better ways to get clients besides cold calling and cold emailing?
  • How do you get meetings with marketing heads, founders, brand managers, or marketing agencies?
  • Do referrals, partnerships, networking, or other strategies work better than outbound sales?

I'd really appreciate practical tips, tools, strategies, or real experiences that have worked for you.

If you're in video production, marketing, or a similar B2B service business, I'd love to hear how you find and convert clients.

Thanks in advance!

Salesforce Agency looking for leads

I run a boutique Salesforce consulting business in the US, focused primarily around Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (previously Pardot). We are a small team of 4 consultants (3 delivery while I mostly do biz dev and account management).

Currently running cold email outreach via Apollo, and referrals from previous clients.

Looking for tips on finding consulting leads esp in the SMB market anywhere in the US.

Any insights will be helpful on helping us scale.

I'LL RUN OUTREACH FOR YOUR PRODUCT/SERVICE.

I lastly made this post 2weeks ago and I received a bunch of DMs. For some reason, my post seemed to attract a bunch of founders/startups who have zero skin in their own game and basically want free work to be done for them. I'll make my offer/post bulletproof this time around.

I'm looking to be an outbound sales partner with someone in the B2B space (No physical products), targeting the US market. I expect to operate on cold traffic, so here's who I'll be interested in partnering up with:

  1. Your typical offer to your ideal prospect is worth at least $2k upfront.
  2. You're willing to bear the cost of essential outreach infrastructure (Dialer for cold calls AND/OR Email sending infrastructure for cold email campaigns)
  3. I absolutely charge a fee as upfront payment. Cold outreach requires an enormous amount of volume to yield results, so it's imperative that I protect my time and effort.

Niches I will not consider:

  • AI receptionists/Voice Agents (extremely saturated and noisy niche)
  • Tax management services (very saturated and doesn't pay enough)
  • AI/automation services (super hard to pitch cold)
  • CRM software (extremely saturated, monopolized and noisy niche)
  • Cybersecurity services (monopolized and very high prospect friction)

If you feel like we could work on something, DM me with your website so I can have a look. We'll discuss and I'll go where I see the best market opportunity.

Searching for Cold Calling Software for Agencies - help

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

Hi,

I am searching for a cold calling software. Maybe someone could help with suggestions.
There are many tools on the market, however I couldn’t find a suitable solution.
We run outbound cold calling for clients, setting qualified appointments.

Currently we use a tool that should have been the perfect match, however I think it’s not build properly, has many things not a tool should have in general, isn’t GDPR compliant (e.g. we can’t set DNC lists or contacts, which is needed for Europe, even they are a EU company)
Their list uploading is not good and some other things that should be standard for this kind of tools are not good or missing. Another example is the bad reporting and that they basically don’t have a good overview of set meetings.
I give them so much feedback, currently feeling more like their business development support then a client that can effectively use the tool.

Main use focus we would need:

- Autodailer
- Handle Different Clients/Projects/Lists
- Has a CRM build (just need notes, buttons for meetings, DNC button, not interested and something that I can mark why the lead is not usable)
- must be able to set follow ups and get notifications if the follow is due
- should be able to call the number of the caller even when their number is not in the system, as a callback could happen from a different number
- must be able to import different kind of numbers like direct phone and company phone and be able to sort it for the Autodailer correct
- need to be able to set max. Touchpoints before the leads gets sorted out.
- optional email and sms sending from the system (isn’t a criteria I would to not consider using it)
- need to be able to get phone numbers for UK or US (without having a company there, wich is kind of normal, but the current tool doesn’t even provide that)
- would be nice to have a call flatrate for the country included you have a phone number to make outbound calls.

Maybe someone has similar experience and found a tool that really works. Currently looking into other tools, but thought here are coming up some tools and ideas I haven’t looked into yet.

[Hiring] Looking for Remote B2B Sales Reps. Hourly Pay + Commission, Training and Leads Provided

I’m looking for motivated people to join a remote sales team focused on helping US businesses improve their operations through technology.

What We Do
We provide technical services that help businesses save time, connect their systems, automate repetitive work, and improve their infrastructure.

Our five service categories are:
Automation & Workflows: Automating repetitive business tasks and processes.

Integrations & Business Systems: Connecting software, apps, APIs, and business tools.

Data & Data Management: Helping businesses organize, process, and manage their data.

E-Commerce Systems: Improving and connecting the systems that online businesses use.

Cloud & Infrastructure: Helping businesses with cloud systems, infrastructure, and related technical needs.

The Position
Sales representatives will handle the sales process, including cold calling US businesses, identifying potential customers, setting appointments, and closing deals.
During training, each representative will choose two service categories to focus on. You’ll receive training on those categories, how to communicate with potential customers, how to identify business needs, and how to move prospects through the sales process.

What We Provide
Hourly pay: $5 to $10 per hour, with the potential to increase based on performance.

Commission: Additional commission for closed deals. Commission amounts vary by deal.

Training: Guidance on the services you sell, outreach, appointment setting, and closing.

Leads: Business leads are provided.

A dedicated representative dashboard: Sign in to access assigned leads and manage your sales workflow, including calling and booking appointments. The goal is to keep everything organized in one place without messy spreadsheets.

What You Need
A reliable way to make calls to US-based businesses.
Reliable internet access.
Clear communication and professional phone skills.
Willingness to learn the services and follow the sales process.
Organization, consistency, and a focus on results.
Important: The built-in calling dialer is still in testing and development, so representatives must currently provide their own reliable calling method.

Who Should Apply?
I’m looking for people who want to develop their B2B sales skills, communicate confidently with business owners and decision-makers, and earn through hourly pay plus commissions.
Previous sales experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn and follow the process matters too.

Interested?
Comment below or send me a message with a short introduction, your sales experience if any, your availability, and whether you have a reliable way to make calls to US businesses.

What are the best GTM intelligence platforms for mapping total addressable markets (TAM) ?

Most platforms categorized under GTM intelligence were built as contact lookup directories rather than market mapping engines.

Platforms like ZoomInfo or Apollo provide massive contact databases but their records decay quickly and leaving teams with large lists containing defunct domains or accounts that lack essential technical prerequisites.

When evaluating GTM intelligence platforms specifically for mapping a total addressable market, you want a system that builds your TAM bottom-up from primary records.

Scale Intelligence is designed specifically for this bottom-up approach where it constructs an active digital twin of your market by ingesting public corporate registries, regulatory filings, live hiring feeds, and technical footprints. It identifies every eligible company based on hard operational constraints, maps the key decision makers inside them and separates accounts that have been directly observed from those not yet measured. It also lets you preview account coverage and signal volume before launching outbound motions.

For B2B teams planning territories or building target lists, a platform that provides an auditable, verifiable boundary of your market is far more reliable than an inflated database search.

If you’ve got room for more B2B clients, we’ll book qualified sales meetings. You only pay when they happen.

We handle the work that gets potential customers into your calendar, so you can focus on selling.

That means researching prospects, checking they fit your target customer, reaching out by email and phone, following up, qualifying interest and getting the meeting booked.

Our outreach domain, mailboxes and in-house cold callers and SDRs are all included in the per-meeting price.

Before starting, we agree on who you want to reach, what makes a meeting qualified and what each meeting costs. You only pay for qualified meetings that actually go ahead. No monthly retainer, and no charge for no-shows.

We work with B2B businesses targeting Australia and the US.

If you’re taking on clients, send me a message with what you sell and who you want to reach.
