Male and female

First I would like to apologise for the poor quality video.

Would anyone be able to identify this large bird with the white in the tail feathers. It arrived with a lot of bother and annoyance from the local mynas and carrawongs and was quickly chased off.

This sighting was in North Ryde Sydney.

Pied currawong emerging from the bushes

2 small (noisy miner size) all grey birds were up in a tree making these calls. They also made sounds with their wings when they flew about.

One of a pair that have made our place their home in the last month.

Help me identify this bird that blessed my eyes. It flew into my driveway like a good luck omen.

This was my first time seeing one these in real life...bower and all. 😄 It is amazing how the feathers go from pitch black to bright iridescent blue based on reflective angle.
