Weird Question Do you still lift heavy in the gym? Why or why not? How old are you?

โ€ข Upvotes

I got most of my ego lifting done in my 20s, and also hurt myself plenty. It took me a long time to realize no one cares if I can bench 225 or deadlift 400 lbs.

How often do you get touched inappropriately by other men?

โ€ข Upvotes

Stuff like Ass/dick grabs, etc., from people other than your partner.

Edit: Just to clarify, this never happens with strangers; it's pretty much always friends and people I know. It honestly doesn't bother me and it's been a thing since I was a kid, but I have no idea why.

Men who are sexually dominant, what does having a woman fully submit to you mean to you emotionally?

โ€ข Upvotes

I'm curious about men who feel that having a woman be completely theirs, sexually submitting to them and giving them control, is the deepest form of closeness they can experience.

What does that kind of submission make you feel beyond sexual excitement? How does it compare to other forms of emotional intimacy?

Men who need more than physical attraction to feel desire in a relationship, what's that like for you?

I'm curious to hear from men who genuinely love their partners and find them attractive, but need that extra bit of spice or effort from their partner to get in the mood.

My boyfriend and I have a loving, affectionate relationship, but he's explained that things like dressing up, wearing lingerie, or making a deliberate effort to seduce him are what really get him in the mood.

For me, I can feel that desire naturally just from being close, kissing, cuddling, or looking at my partner. I enjoy dressing up and making an effort too, but I also want to feel wanted just as I am, without having to do something extra first.

I'm wondering how common it is for men to feel differently. Can you be very attracted to your partner but rarely feel that urge unless they do something specific to get you in the mood?

Has this always been how you are, or did it change as your relationship became more comfortable and emotionally close? I'd genuinely like to understand how this works from your perspective.

How would you feel about dating a woman with an autoimmune disease?

For example, Hashimoto's thyroiditis with hypothyroidism. It's an autoimmune condition where the immune system attacks the thyroid gland, causing it to produce too little thyroid hormone. This can affect her energy levels, mood, weight, and overall well-being, sometimes making everyday activities more challenging.

Weird Question Gym grunters, how verbal are you during other physical activities?

Iโ€™ve been a gym regular since the COVID mask era and have never felt compelled to tssssh on every exhale and if I grunt, itโ€™s quiet and only happens occasionally.

Tonight, I was working out next two guys who were putting on quite the show, grunting and tsssh-ing at every exhale. And now Iโ€™m curiousโ€ฆ if you do this, is it involuntary, if so are you also โ€œverbalโ€ when โ€ฆ. playing tennis ๐Ÿ‘€ ?

๐Ÿ›‘ Answers From Men Only ๐Ÿ›‘ Honest question, Men have you ever been out partying or just enjoying a night out when a random woman sneakily grabbed your ass out of nowhere? What was your reaction?

Did you call her out, brush it off, or just stand there wondering what the hell just happened?

I was a bouncer for a long time, so it happened to me every now and then. Most of the time, I never saw who did it because it was too packed or they walked away too quickly. Hell, for all I knew, it could've been a guy!

Every once in a while, I'd actually catch someone doing it, and I'd politely but firmly tell them not to do it again.

What is the value in dating anymore?

Im an older guy, divorced with grown kids, and single. While I would love to imagine myself growing old with someone, I am really struggling to find the motivation in trying to date. Given the current climate in man hating amongst many women, I find myself being turned off to them as a whole. I try to convince myself that this is mostly just a social media trend and not really representative of the entire (American) female population. However, I value my peace (and my 401k) a little too much to risk it again. So I ask, is it really worth it anymore?

When did you know it's time to propose?

I'm 28M and my partner is 28F. We've been together for 3 years now.

I've moved in to her hometown when we we're 1.5 years in. Which is 8-10 hours of bus driving away from mine and has been renting near their house.

She has responsibilities with her family, like maintaining their house (no one is living their atm everyone is away and only she is left that's why), paying school tuitions and allowances to her brothers. She and her big brother are sharing the expenses together.

I believe she's ready to settle down, but she can't commit because of her responsibilities or is she just waiting for me to drop the question?

I also want to settle down with her but I'm unsure if now is the right time? My plan was to wait for 2 of her younger brothers to finish, then I realized I can't wait 4 years for that.

I don't want to stop her from supporting her family financially, I just want her to prioritize our relationship and maybe leave some for our future? Like we always adjust our schedules with her mother who she drives for every weekend and it's exhausting her out when she should just be resting. She's a freelancer but her weekdays are tiring than mine as she has no boundaries for work life balance.

Could use some advice or maybe share your story.

Edit: Adding in that marriage is our goal

How do you guys deal with competition? Do you ever get sick of it?

I (25M) am nomadic and move around very often, however I usually set up a homebase around a certain city or national park for a few months at a time to save up and plan out trips. I don't feel ready to have a long term relationship, but I still like to talk to women, be flirty or have flings and encounters if she is open to it.

Something that frustrates me a lot is just how much competition you run into when trying to get into dating. It seems like every attractive woman practically has a halo of guys swarming around her, and trying to get her to notice you is at times very difficult.

Last summer I was staying in a small mountain town, and I met this beautiful girl who was about my age, alternative, nomadic, very adventurous, and intelligent. She checked off every box for me and I tried getting to know her, hoping I could sooner or later ask her out on a date. But she got so much male attention that I could never even poke my head in.

I got her number and tried to ask her to go hiking with me on the few days that our schedules lined up, but she was pretty much always doing the same thing with another guy friend of hers. I would see her at the bar in town, but she was always talking to another guy at the bar, often a much older man. Even in the event that I could get to talk to her, there would often be another guy she knows around who would butt into the conversation. Sometimes it felt impossible to get any 1 on 1 time.

She was an extreme example, but I have noticed this kind of behavior a lot. I've had guys try to squeeze me out of conversations if we both liked a girl in the group. Interrupt me, belittle me all that. I've seen guys get so heated that you could tell that they were just barely containing their cool around me when a girl is involved. Sometimes I'll meet other guys in these places and we'll start talking. He'll say "Hey, don't you think ( girl that you like ) is cute?" My heart always sinks when I hear this. I think "Great! What now? Should I give up this girl so we can hang out? Or are we gonna start fighting for her attention?" It is honestly pretty exhausting.

Do you guys ever feel the same way? Do you guys have any similar experiences or am I just particularly unlucky? What do you guys do about it? Do you think that it is even worth pursuing a girl if she is constantly getting swarmed by every guy in town?

Do guys who workout like getting compliments on their physique?

First time poster, srry if this violates the question rules. Anyway, I'm a nonbinary person who knows literally no straight men and so I've never engaged in straight culture, and I was arguing with a friend about if men like getting platonic compliments about their physique or not; it was such a long debate I simply MUST know the answer.
