Changes with Interaction on the Sub

Hello everyone!

The mod team has become aware of bots posting and commenting on this sub at an increasing rate. We have decided that from now on, accounts with less than 100 karma will no longer be allowed to comment or post on this subreddit. I know this can be frustrating for new users who are not bots, but this is the best way to ensure that bots are not overrunning the sub.

✅ Open To Everyone Girl (25F) I (26M) have been talking to for about 10 days just sent me a rant about a coworker who "she felt a very strong connection with" and who she thought "was flirting with her" is now ignoring her. Am I correct assuming she has no romantic interest in me?

I met her maybe 20 days ago. For the last 10 days we've been talking a lot and she's made clear multiple times she's single. She's been initiating most conversations, very effusively, so I thought she may have had some interest in me. She'd ask a lot of questions about me, my hobbies, my personality... and she opened up a lot about herself. I reciprocated but I'm more reserved than she is.

Today we were chatting like usual but then she sent a long streak of audios about things she's going through in her workplace. In particular she felt very hurt about a coworker who's now barely talking to her. She sent about 6-7 audios about this coworker, talking about "weird" things he does, and how unpleasant he is. In the last two audios (which she deleted almost immediately, but I managed to download) she said before she felt a "very strong connection" with this coworker who she thought may have even flirted with her. I think they went on a date 1 or 2 weeks ago, but she hasn't confirmed this.

Am I correct assuming she'd only say these things to a man she has no romantic interest in?

✅ Open To Everyone How do i explain to my husband that he’s exacerbating a complex about my smaller chest by being TOO excited about their breastfeeding size?

My husband, though hes never shown complaint (except for once verryyyyy early in our talking stage with a singular comment) with my smaller chest (32B/26D).
But whenever im breastfeeding he gets so excited citing specifically in many different versions, that they were bigger, more fun to look at and fun to touch/bounce when they are full.
My boobs pretty much look like i have (small) implants when im engorged esp early on PP. and even i can admit they look very nice.
But i breast fed our first for nearly 3 years and by the end they had shrunk back down to my pre bsby size, with a little less volume esp up top. So a lot smaller. Like we’re talking from a 26D to a 26G when breast feeding.

I appreciate he is stil excited by my PP body but it hurt my feelings last time around and hes doing it again this time. Idk maybe its my early PP hormones getting the better of me.
He says theres no difference because even when they get smaller he still peeks at me getting readyfor the shower and still grabs and plays with them. So “obviously” he still likes them. But i cant seem to get it across to him that it really hurts my feelings and gives me complex for later when he acts SO much more excited when theyre larger. As if he wishes they were but will accept what i do have because “boobs are boobs”, but better when they look like they do now. Which obviously i cant maintain.

Men’s Input Only Can you really NOT catch feelings doing relationship things? Or is it just possible when it’s someone you truly don’t want.

**guy I’ve been casually dating this guy, exclusively for about a month and a half, invites me to his navy Christmas party on base and to a hangout with his friends?**

**Initially I was just seeking someone to casually have sex with who was okay with going out and doing things.**

I met a guy who was seeking the same thing, and called it a physically relationship with no label.

The chemistry, sex, connection and everything are absolutely amazing. We laugh together, he’s so so sweet and i genuinely enjoy spending time with him.

A few weeks ago I just checked in to see how things were going with him and he expressed his concern that he worries I might end up wanting more than he can give me and he says he doesn’t want to hurt me. And he reminds me he doesn’t want anything serious.

(I’d given him a Halloween basket that was in no way romantic, I’d just given all of my friends one. And I realized he’d kinda got a little distance and backed off, which is why I checked in.)

I tell him I’m fine, I’m not looking for more and tell him if my needs changed I’d let him know.

I see him again and he’s a lot more affectionate before, and it kind of threw me off.

Another week passed and he’s at my house and I ask him what he means by not wanting anything serious. (In my mind it has different meanings to people.)

He says, he doesn’t really know and states “that’s a good question.” He mentions he had deployed every few months and couldn’t manage both work and a relationship. He then mentions “but I’ll be here the next 3-4 years”, and he says he hasn’t had a relationship in years and says his last girlfriend was very toxic and it didn’t end well. This was about maybe 4 years ago.

He further details he enjoys our dates, trips, adventures, hanging out, and is having fun with me and that he is not looking for anyone else.

He then asks me what I’m looking for, and says “I know you recently have gotten out of something too”

I tell him I’m not looking for a boyfriend and wasn’t seeking one with what I have going on. I tell him if my needs change then I would let him know.

Last night we’re talking about Christmas plans and he mentions his command is throwing a Christmas party, at work and asks if I would like to go with him.

He also mentioned his friend does these get together at his house frequently, and said he’d take me next time he throws one.

He’s become a lot more affectionate, and has been bringing me in on parts of his life more and more. It’s just confusing with everything he’s said.

I’m not looking for anything, I’m more so just curious from another guys perspective

✅ Open To Everyone My wife said toys are better than me?

I'm not jealous or anything and happy she uses her toys. She also very much enjoys us together but the toys are just simple and straight to the point for her.

i encourage she could try more and am trying to buy more toys for heras gifts for her birthday or our anniversary so we can try them out together. She used to be kinda shy about the whole thing, but lately she seems genuinely excited about sex. She even started leaving these bright, colorful Tracy’s Dog toys right on the nightstand.

if she isn't getting there during sex, I'll take the toy and hold it on her myself. I was actually pretty shocked one time when she started crying out right after she came. She looked at me and said no guy had ever done that for her before.

She told me later how hard it actually is for most women to come, and that a lot of her girl friends are just faking it every time. For guys, it's super easy, but for women, it's totally different. A lot of guys have zero idea how to actually make a girl feel good sometimes it's a size thing, sometimes it's just the wrong angle or position. not sure about it

I bring this up with my guy friends, they just laugh at me and make fun of it.

I really don't get why they act like that. Is it actually weird for couples to use vibrators together, or are my friends just missing out?

✅ Open To Everyone gf wont touch me during sex, how do i bring it up?

I'm 18, male, we decided to try and actually fuck for the first time yesterday and I just kept going floppy because she was laying there and just expected me to put it in. This whole relationship has just been me using my hands and mouth to make her feel good, and then she goes straight to bed, and I'm too much of a pussy to bring it up cuz I know she's had sexual trauma in the past and I don't want her to feel pressured into doing anything she doesn't want to. Its always me asking her if she needs anything or if what I'm doing feels good but she has never once asked me this and I just feel so tired. I wanna feel desired too.

✅ Open To Everyone Young adult here, have simply run out of adventures to distract myself with. Is it worth living after all?

Long story short, traumatic childhood and me being a slightly smart kid I managed to get into some really good schools and learn a few languages before college. Studied half of high school abroad, came back even more resentfuk of authority and with a mild alcohol problem. Decided to take some time off before University. Travelled the country by train, before that played in several bands as the direct result of a lifelong passion for guitar and tried to sell myself the dream of becoming a rockstar or anyone important for that matter. Didn't work out in the end, alcohol problem got worse and I was promptly Dave Mustaine'd from the band.

Lifelong dream has always been to be a filmmaker, nowadays it seems very bleak and unreasonable to even dream of such a life for myself.

A lot that could be written here but I see no nessecary reason for it. Instead, below is a dream I had, long time ago:

I wake up on a ship on very rough waters, (obsessed with sailing and mainly the Napoleonic naval battles so kind of checks out I guess) It's sort of a modern cargo ship and I'm at the bridge. I spot a black kitten smaller than my palm, it's trembling. I take it in my hand to try and calm it, it doesn't stop, so scared cant even breathe or make a sound but I keep holding on to it.

Not long after, my family appears and they appear to be steering the ship. I'm suddenly reminded that it was in fact them that wanted to go on this voyage(?) in the first place. There's a restaurant sorta thing on some shore filled with people and were headed straight at it. I try my best to take control of the ship and steer it port side to clear it from the crowd. We still end up hitting a young couple and a baby.

After everything settles down we get off the ship. Now the environment seems more like a college campus than a exotic restaurant on a distant shore. People despise me. Everybody seems to blame me for what happened even though I was the only one that didn't have a say in our destination, I was the one who tried to steer the ship away from people and failed. Not to mention the kitten also left me as soon as we landed which I felt quite hurt by as I'd only shown affection towards him.

Every single time I come home I feel the same dissappointment and accusatory behaviour. Don't really find the dry land worth landing on, If you can see where I'm going with this. It's cliché and all but it seems that wherever I go, there I seem to be.

It reminds me of the captain in The Hundred Year Solitude where after his attempt of killing himself he's forgiven for his war crimes. Only consolation of mine is that perhaps I'll have the same luck but who knows.

All advice appreciated, Thanks.

✅ Open To Everyone Guy I’m talking to is super sexual over text but shy in person. Is he nervous or am I missing something?

• Upvotes

I’ve been talking to this guy consistently for about two months and we’ve been on three dates. We work at the same hospital and our units are right next to each other. He works days and I work nights, so we would always see each other during shift change.
I thought he was cute and had a feeling he liked me, and eventually his coworkers confirmed it. Neither of us did anything for a while, but slowly we started talking more. Whenever he would see me, he would get really shaky and his face would get flushed. His coworkers told me he really, really liked me and that I made him nervous.
We eventually started texting and going out. We’ve talked about our sexual and relationship history, and he told me he was in a four year relationship where they never had sex but did everything else. He lost his virginity about five months ago to a girl he met at a club, and that’s the only time he’s ever had sex. He said it was meaningless and he regrets it. I asked if he was waiting for marriage or anything, and he said no, he just wants to do it with someone he really likes.
For context, he’s Arab and Muslim, but he’s not super strict. He drinks and isn’t judgmental, so I don’t really know how much religion plays into this.
What’s confusing me is that over text he’s extremely freaky. He talks about wanting to eat me out, have me sit on his face, manhandle me, all of that. But in person I feel like he’s scared to do anything. I had to initiate our first kiss and it was just a peck.
On our last date, I invited him back to my apartment and we got a little frisky. We were on top of each other, kind of dry humping, and he was spanking my ass and rubbing me through my jeans. I offered to give him head and he was about to say yes then said it was too soon. He went in to kiss me, so I was thinking okay, we’re finally going to make out. I tried using tongue, but he didn’t reciprocate, so I just stopped. We haven’t talked about it since, and we’ve been texting normally.
Our next date was supposed to be him coming over to my apartment to cuddle and watch a movie, but he bailed on that.
Honestly, I’m a little bugged because it’s been two months and we haven’t even had a proper makeout session. I’m not saying we need to have sex or go crazy, but I do want some intimacy. Just kissing, cuddling, stuff like that. We’re trying to take things slow because we both really like each other, but I feel like I need a little more.
Also, I’m really not trying to sound cocky, but I would consider myself more attractive than the average woman. I get complimented a lot by both men and women, and I’ve been told I’m “intimidatingly beautiful.” I’m only mentioning this because I wonder if feeling intimidated could be part of it. He tells me all the time that I’m the prettiest girl he’s ever been with and how attractive he thinks I am. But obviously I don’t know if that’s actually why he’s hesitant or if it’s more about his lack of experience.
Has anyone dealt with something like this? How do I bring it up without making him feel bad or like I’m pressuring him? I really like him, but the difference between how he talks over text and how he acts in person is confusing me.

Men’s Input Only How should I understand his pattern? What did he want from me?

• Upvotes

Hi, I need some help, it would be very very helpful if anyone could share their thoughts, because I can't seem to get out of the rut I'm in.

TL;DR: For months, he showed behavior that seemed like possible attraction—staring, mirroring, waiting around, and subtle physical contact—but when I asked him out, he clearly said he couldn’t date. I’m trying to understand whether he may have been attracted to me but unable or unwilling to pursue a relationship, and whether this could be related to emotional difficulty, or simply a different kind of interest rather than romantic attraction.

* We (37F/30M) had already been working together for more than six years.

* About four months ago, he started paying more attention to me. He would check where I was, and he began mirroring my behavior almost immediately, sometimes within a second. At first, I thought it was just a coincidence, but it happened too often to ignore. He also seemed interested in what I ate, drank, and wore, and he would copy me. He repeatedly ate and drank the same things as me and wore similar things to what I wore. At first, I found it very strange, but it continued for several months. He also told me that we liked the same things and looked alike.

* He tried to touch me, hold my hand, and hug me, but only when other people were around. When the two of us were alone, without any other colleagues around, he never touched me.

* He seemed to create opportunities for us to interact, such as waiting for me after work or making playful gestures and body-related jokes at work. Sometimes, even during meetings with other people, he would make gestures that nobody else noticed or understood. However, we already had our own inside jokes.

* Whenever he made an attempt to get closer to me, he wouldn't approach me again the following day. He never ignored me or acted cold toward me, but there always seemed to be a push-pull pattern in his behavior. For example, after he held my hand for the first time, he didn't approach me again the next day.

* Sometimes, he seemed overwhelmed when he was around me. For example, when I complimented him for helping me, he stared at me without saying a word. He also often stumbled or tripped over his own feet, and his friend would tease him whenever he did so near me.

* When he let his guard down a little, he would talk about his future, his family, his current situation, what he had done over the weekend, and what he was planning to do. At the same time, he seemed to know what I had been doing, even when I had never told him directly. I don't know where he got that information, since I have social media accounts but never posted about those things. He also remembered things I had told him two or three weeks earlier, and if we hadn't finished discussing a topic (even if it was just a small thing), he would bring it up again later.

* He always showed his interest in me through his behavior rather than using emotional words. He would describe situations instead of directly expressing his feelings. For example, when I planned a business trip, he told me, "You won't be here next week, so we won't be able to work together on the next meeting." I don't know whether he felt disappointed about having to work without me, but he would often say things like that.

* He often helped me, and sometimes he would start working on something before I even asked him to. Since we had worked together for a long time, he knew how I worked and would simply start working on the next transaction to help me without asking any questions. Sometimes, it seemed as though he wanted to gain recognition through his work skills.

* Recently, one of our team members recorded a meeting just for fun. I only recently realized, after watching the video, that he had been staring at me and following my movements. He would also move toward me and laugh when I did something. He seemed more relaxed in the video than he did when he was around me in person. It was really strange for me to see that.

At first, I thought I might have been misinterpreting his behavior, but he would keep waiting for me to make eye contact with him until I finally looked back at him. This went on for about four months. We never dated. Eventually, I asked him out because my feelings for him had grown over those several months. Also, our six-year working relationship was coming to an end, which meant I would no longer have the chance to see him at work.

I wrote him a personal letter explaining how I felt, how comfortable I had felt working with him, what a wonderful person I thought he was, and how much I valued him as a person, beyond his professional abilities. I also gave him a handmade farewell gift: a small figure representing one of our inside jokes, which involved a particular gesture. I believe we were the only two people who knew what that gesture meant. I wanted to give him something that was just for him because I saw him as someone who rarely pursued what he wanted or openly expressed his desires. He often seemed to give up on things he wanted, and he sometimes appeared uncomfortable when I complimented him. I wanted him to know how valuable and unique I believed he was.

When he received my gift, he asked me, "Why am I getting this? Just because?" But he accepted it and rejected me the next day without explaining how he felt. He simply told me that he couldn't go out with me and that he didn't want to change the relationship we already had. That was all he said. I simply accepted his decision and didn't push him to explain, because I had already noticed that he sometimes seemed overwhelmed and found it difficult to talk about his feelings or emotions. I instinctively knew that I couldn't ask him why he had paid so much attention to me for several months.

That's why I decided to write this post and ask for other people's opinions, although I know that no one can know exactly what he was thinking or feeling except him.

I would really appreciate hearing other people's perspectives. I haven't contacted him privately since then. However, I still think about him and have feelings for him, even though I can no longer see him or have any contact with him. I'm simply trying to understand what happened.

We never had a private relationship, but we were becoming too close for me to see us as just coworkers or friends. There's also the question of why I developed feelings for him, even though we never dated.

✅ Open To Everyone How to Deal with Guilt?

• Upvotes

I'm 29 and have done a lot of wrong in my life. I have been to prison for assault and am trying to change my ways. I am going to college for electrical engineering, work as a tutor at my school, and have a 6 month old daughter. Sometimes I make mistakes and do things I'm not proud of and feel awful about it after and it's hard to keep going when I feel so bad about what I've done. How do you all deal with things like this (if you all even go through this)? Even something like playing a video game makes me feel so guilty. I need to work out and be a good man. I feel like a piece of shit and my anxiety is terrible. I know that more context of the situation would help but I don't want to share my personal life. I argue with my girlfriend (the mother of my daugther) often these days and just keep making mistakes, to sum it up. I speak rudely when I get stressed, and I just can't ever do things right. I am serious when I say it is my fault. She does not cause problems but some how, unconsiously almost, I do. I just want to be a better man and lock in and get back to working out and be a good person.

✅ Open To Everyone I have the life I always dreamed of, so why am I still unhappy?

I have a good career, a loving wife who was my classmate and the person I always dreamed of spending my life with, loving parents and an adorable toddler. We both work from home, so I get to spend most of my day with my family. I know how fortunate I am and I genuinely love the life we have built.

But there is something I am struggling with and honestly, I feel guilty even admitting it.

Some people close to us constantly seem to turn conversations into competitions. They show off their achievements, purchases, lifestyle and sometimes even compare their children with ours. I have never been interested in proving that I am doing better than anyone. I believe everyone has their own journey and I genuinely feel happy when people I care about do well.

Yet whenever these comparisons happen, they affect my mood. I feel irritated and resentful towards people I otherwise care about. I have spent years trying to ignore it and have read about Stoicism and psychology but knowing that I should not care has not helped me stop caring.

The part that hurts most is that I let these things steal my peace and affect the time and attention my own family deserves. My wife, son and parents mean everything to me, yet I sometimes find myself mentally occupied by people and things that should not matter this much.

I know some of this may come from my own ego or insecurities and I am willing to accept that. I just do not want to spend the next 10 or 20 years living this way. How do I genuinely stop caring about comparisons and other people's need to prove themselves? How do I reach a point where their words no longer affect my happiness?

I am open to a hard truth or a reality check. I really want to change because I do not want to look back one day and realize I wasted precious years of a beautiful life being upset over things that never deserved my attention.

✅ Open To Everyone Girlfriend leaving (again), to take care of mother. Do I try to uproot and move too?

Background: I'm (37M) and my partner is a 30F) and we're both living in Ohio.

We met at a former place of employment, and she showed interest in me first and I was a little reserved for about 6 months before I showed interest back. We dated for about a year but had never lived together but I was frequently over at her home. Our relationship came to a screeching halt one day when she told me she was moving back down south to be with her family because her grandfather didn't have much time to live.

I misunderstood the entire situation and had thought she was just going down temporary for a few months, but her intentions were to move permanently, which she did & he ended up only living for about 6 months.

I initially severed the connection to her once she did move because it hurt feeling like I was reliving it daily and felt I had no options to keep the connection with her plus she's a very 'physical touch' type of person and the whole long distance thing wasn't working.

I have a child from a previous relationship and my family (Mom & Sister, and my son) so I feel obligated and also stuck in my state so I thought it was better to just call it for both of us.

Over the course of the next 3 years I only had relations with a person I had went to school with a few times, but beyond that, no one else, no dates, nothing. I found myself missing my former partner and although I thought I was moving on, I began to feel like maybe I never did.

Somehow over the next year of me begging and smooth talking my way I managed to get her to move back to Ohio, I flew down to Florida, bought a UHaul, loaded her stuff up and hauled her car back up to Ohio and we got an apartment together.

Currently:

Things have been pretty great as we're both calm people, we've had a few minor disagreements and maybe a single serious argument that was resolved from both sides fairly quickly in the last 2 years we've been back together, we've tried to have a child but there are some complications with that, so we've explored IVF and got some testing done to see what options we may have.

We've not discussed marriage, but it's been something in the back of my head for a few months now because I believe she is my person, especially after everything we've managed to just reconnect across long distances and things seem to work between us, although there are some things I personally need to improve on (emotions, communication)

Fast forward to Monday and she had just returned from a family vacation from the week before and she says we need to talk. She tells me her brother doesn't think they'll get another Christmas with their mother after this upcoming one and that their mothers health isn't the greatest. Her mom is in her late 50's with a wide plethora of medical issues over the years.

She tells me that she's moving out in 2 weeks to go live with her mom (who is in Tennessee) so she can spend as much time with her and that if she doesn't and something happens to her mother and she's not nearby she'll never forgive herself. (I completely get this).

We've barely talked about the whole thing because it came out of left field, but I'm not really sure what to do? I don't want to lose her (again). I have no doubts she's telling me the truth about her moms health.

My child is almost 18, but I don't want to leave my son high and dry, my mom and sister would most likely understand. But I also don't want to lose a job I love, as I'm not sure if they would grant me a fully remote position. On top of trying to find a new place to live, out of state and potentially a new job. A lot of scary unknowns.

I'm really just looking for any advice, as I'm sure this is a unique situation but maybe someone has been in this similar situation.

TLDR: GF moving in 2 weeks out of state out of blue to take care of sick mother, unsure if I should make an attempt to try and go or accept my losses again?

✅ Open To Everyone Couldn't stay hard during sex, what do I do?

I'm 18, male, my gf and I tried to have sex for the first time yesterday, and I just couldn't stay hard, like when we kiss each other or when she touches me I get hard, but as I was putting the condom on I just kept going soft and couldn't get it in.

She barely even touches me tbh, said she doesn't know what to do, and most of the time I'm left doing the work with my fingers, and then she goes to bed. I'm too scared to bring it up since she has had trauma with sex in the past, and I don't wanna make her do something she doesn't wanna do but man I feel so disposable and just feel like shit.

✅ Open To Everyone 20M and I couldnt get hard immediately after my first round but lasted 15 minutes in the second round Is this normal?

Im 20M and recently had sex with a 22F and Im wondering if my experience is normal
We started with deep kissing and I got hard pretty quickly After we got naked we had penetrative sex but I ejaculated in around 2 minutes during the first round

After finishing I tried to get hard again but couldnt get an erection for the second round even though I wanted to continue We spent some time together and after around 20 to 30 minutes I finally got hard again and we went for round two This time I lasted around 15 minutes

She wanted a third round but I couldnt get hard again and I also had to leave because I had exams
Another thing I noticed was that I could get hard while kissing but sometimes I would go soft as soon as I stopped to put on a condom

For context I regularly get morning erections and can get fully hard with sexual stimulation
Im wondering if this is normal at 20 or if I should be concerned

Has anyone experienced something similar Is it normal to need 20 to 30 minutes to get hard again after the first round and then be unable to get hard for a third round

Men’s Input Only Is my talking stage a red flag?

I have been in a talking stage for months. He doesn’t want to rush into a relationship, which is fine!

However, it gets contradicting and confusing to plan on when we are getting married and planning on getting me pregnant in the next 1-2 years if you don’t want to rush into a relationship. He wants a child, to move in together, and become engaged in 2027-2028.

He has been showing me engagement rings, but when I mention that we should be in a committed relationship, the conversation gets super short. When I mention us becoming official he says “soon”, or he doesnt want to rush anything right after showing me baby names that he likes and engagement rings.

He doesn’t talk about becoming a girlfriend with me, I always bring it up and I don’t get a real response. It has caused a lot of confusion on where we stand in a relationship. He wants to marry me and have children with me, so to me it sounds very serious. I do girlfriend stuff for him without the girlfriend title. Since it started to become stressful, I pulled back.

We are like a relationship with no title. His family asks about me, he tries to monitor what I wear, and he is possessive. He doesn’t like the fact I am on birth control either.

The thing is, how does he expect to have so much authority over me when he isn’t even planning on making me a girlfriend anytime soon?

What bothers me the most is that I didnt realize that he follows so many women. He didnt follow this many women when we met. A lot of these women are in our area. Some of them are random women that I dont know how he found.

Im not too experienced in relationships at all, I am 24 and he is 26. I just feel like a few of these expectations are meant for a boyfriend, not a talking stage. Ive been feeling a bit turned off from him. Am I being too rough? I feel like I need a man’s perspective in this situation.

✅ Open To Everyone How to come off as less desperate?

I'm 30M and still technically a virgin. I've given and recieved head before, but nothing further than that. I've been on some dates, but nothing came of them. I eventually plan on seeing an escort to get it over with, once I overcome my fear of falling for a scam or a sting. I also plan on using a matchmaker to find a genuine relationship because dating apps don't work for me and tank my mental health with how stagnant and stressful they are. Someone asked me if I was being picky, but I only have two requirements for dating someone. That they be left leaning and non religious. I'd date any woman that meets those two requirements.

As far as sex, I would sleep with any consenting man or woman. But I haven't had any luck finding someone around my area. Someone said that the fact I'd sleep with any consenting adult makes me to desperate and thats a turn off for everyone. So how do I go about coming off as less desperate when I genuinely would sleep with any consenting adult on the planet? I can admit I am desperate, but if that's the main thing holding me back then I need to at least hide it. I've already done all the usual self help people love to advise. I've lost over 130 pounds, I got a new wardrobe, I went out more to be social, I made new friends, I improved my confidence and self esteem, etc. What do I do now to help hide the fact that I'm desperate for sex with basically anyone?

Men’s Input Only Do men have baby fever?

Hello everyone! Question is in the topic, extra question: how does it show on men?

Me (33F) and my partner (34M) have a three year old toddler together. Recently my partner has been asking me questions like "wouldn't it be nice if our kid had a younger sibling to play with" or "another kid would keep our kid busy and keep him company". My partner has also started sending me some funny baby-related videos, shorts and pics. If asked straight, partner tells me that he doesn't want another kid, but then I'm not sure if it's because of my attitude on the topic or not.

Pregnancy with our son was really hard and due to complications at birth, if I will ever have another child, they have to be taken out via C-section. Our son still doesn't sleep full nights and I've been handling nighttimes myself as I sleep really lightly. I do not have any kind of need for having another child and I do bring that up when partner is bringing up another child ideas. But I do worry that if my partner really is having some baby fever, how is my reaction to his questions affecting on his straight answer about having another child.

So, how do usually you men behave if you have a baby fever?

Thanks for all the answers!

Edit: Thank you all for your answers! I have had a new view on this topic. I did comment on this post, but I'll write the same here.

We are married, despite writing about a partner, he is also my husband. Before having our son we did discuss how many kids we both would like to have. My husband already has another child (12M) from previous relationship and he is also in our lives, our son adores him (but because of the age gap and pre-teen phase, the older one finds the younger rather annoying). We both agreed that one child would be enough for us.

I personally wouldn't want another child. I feel that this toddler life stage is really draining and horrible for me. I'm stressed, tired and annoyed often and it doesn't feel like me. I would not want to go through this ever again. I liked being pregnant despite it being hard, giving birth was okay even though I got messed up really bad from insides, infant stage was okayish, I miss the time when I could put the baby down anywhere and he wouldn't have moved from there... But when they start to walk and run around, nope.

Yesterday evening, after getting our son to bed, we did talk about this topic. He told me that he misses the infant phase, which I do too. But he told me that if we would have another child, our now 3 year old would then probably be in an easier phase of life, more independent and probably a bit calmer. He thought that starting all over again then wouldn't probably be what he wants. So we both had a discussion that our son together is enough for us.

Thanks for your comments! I wish you all the best!

✅ Open To Everyone What would make a guy not take pictures or post himself on the media?

• Upvotes

I have a guy friend, and I asked him why he doesn’t ever take pics or post on social media. He said he thinks it’s weird. He doesn’t even have pics of himself on his phone. He dresses bummy and just smokes cigars and weed every day. I said, dude, you can dress better. He told me, “I don’t want attention on me”. I’m confused because dressing nice has nothing to do with attention; it has everything to do with just keeping your hygiene up and such. He has social media he just doesn’t have a profile picture or anything up.

✅ Open To Everyone Was it my fault that my ex was a liar?

This isn't bait, I know in theory it never is - but I can't help but feel I messed up something. My ex was more truthful to our friends than me. He told them all his real life story, but gave me tons of lies and a complete false picture. I don't understand why he would do this, he claimed to love me more than anyone. We dated for a year, the entire time he was lying about major things: including his real name and job. It's terrifying, did I do something wrong to cause him to feel he had to lie?

Men’s Input Only can a guy stay platonic with a married woman he likes?

i’m married, but i’ve been feeling neglected lately. my husband is extremely busy and doesn’t make much time for me. on our fourth wedding anniversary, he didn’t plan anything or even give me flowers. he treated it like an ordinary day, and honestly, it hurt.

around that time, i happened to visit the country where this other guy lives. he’d tried to meet me during a couple of my previous visits, but i’d ignored the opportunities. this time, we finally met. one meeting turned into 4 other catch ups and we had fun and had a happy moment.

he knows i’m married and has feelings for me, but he says he’s willing to stay platonic just so he can keep talking to me and have me in his life. he’s also told me he genuinely cares about me and will stay loyal to me, even though we’re not dating. (mind you hes a healthy 32 year old, athletic, lives alone)
he spent alot on me during our time meetings. i left back to my country and were still in touch. he’s been consistently sweet and caring, and i’ve started feeling emotionally drawn to him. i feel unusually comfortable and safe around him, which makes this confusing. i wonder if my feelings are partly because i’ve been missing that kind of attention in my marriage.
we live a seven-hour flight apart, and he’s planning to fly over to visit me soon. i’m struggling to understand why he’d make that effort if he’s willing to remain just friends.
i don’t want to leave my husband or pursue another relationship. i want to stay loyal to my marriage, but i’m curious about this guy’s intentions.

**men, could you genuinely stay platonic with a woman you have feelings for, knowing she’s married and unavailable?**

when a man says he’ll stay loyal to a woman he’s not dating, does he genuinely accept friendship, or is he secretly hoping she’ll eventually become available?
i don’t want to assume he’s manipulating me, but i also don’t want to be naive. i’d appreciate honest perspectives from people who’ve experienced something similar.
