brackish tank, so they may hatch. Im not starting intentionally breeding (or attempting to) just yet. I BELIEVE this is my pulligera that's laying these, but im not sure.

Not sure if its easy to tell, but some are yellowing noticeably. What does this mean ? healp

Help Request Feeding tips needed!!!

I’m a newbie taking care of these guys. All recommendations are highly appreciated and will be taken in! I want to give them a good life instead of whatever circumstances they went through at the store.

Got these two little babies at Petsmart. I’ve been adding a bit of cuttlebone for calcium to fix their shells (they came like that).

I’ve been feeding them half of pleco wafers and flakes but I want to improve their diet for their health. Heard about boiling carrots and I’ll give it a try if it’s something suggested.

Thank you!

ID Request snail infestation?

I have no clue where all of these snails came from 😭 I purchased the red root floaters from facebook marketplace and noticed only 2 snails of different species come off of it. I have now counted over 50 snails in my tank.

The tank is currently still cycling but the snails seem to be thriving. Does anyone know what kind of snails these are and if they should be removed before I introduce a Betta?

I’m going to guess that my turtle got to this clutch before I did.

What do I do with this? Will any of them survive? There is some pink to the eggs under the lip.

I knew my turtle would take out the snabies if I missed the clutch, I just wasn’t prepared for this.

Help Request I’m going to be a grandpa!

Hi Reddit. I have never made a post before and I’m trying to get some karma, so forgive me if this is a little out of the norm.

I just found out that my two lovely mystery snails are expecting! (80-200 snails….). That is a bit much for my 10 gallon tank so we are hoping for 3 to raise (and of course, a humane and responsible next step for the other egglets.) My partner and I have been watching our snails (Beautiful Lady and Blue’s Clues) be quite snuggly for the past few months so we knew there was a good chance of something happening soon. And voila!!! We are so excited. In fact - Just two weeks ago we had gotten the mother immortalized as a tattoo on my partner’s arm. On my arm, we got our tetras. :) I don’t know how to add photos but beautiful lady is a lovely deep pink snail and blues clues is a brown-purple-blue snail. We are so stoked and excited to see the 3 snail babies hatch soon. Just wanted to share the excitement ❤️

Any tips for a successful hatch would be lovely. I got our snail a celebratory organic cucumber but she lacked interest when she usually gorges all night on one. Feedback appreciated 🐌😁

Anyone else's mystery love to burrow 🤣 tbh the first one I've had that consistently does so. I've noticed he lives to burrow and nap during day and move around after dark lol I'm not concerned as it's normal just funny bc I've never witnessed it before

He will come out for some snello tho 🤣

Help Request Help!! Ramshorn acting weird??

I have 2 ramshorns that I got almost 3 weeks ago. They’ve been thriving and one of them has grown to be very large. My other snail hasn’t grown much but eats and explores normally. Until about 2 days ago. Now the little one keeps hiding in its shell and I’ve never seen it do that before. Water parameters are all normal. There are no other animals in the tank except a bristlenose pleco that we got 3 or 4 days ago. Could the pleco be stressing out the little snail?? That’s the only variable that’s changed before the weird behavior started

Selling I'm a ramshorn breeder

I used to own bettas and one time, I bought some floating plants on Etsy. Well, to my surprise they had ramshorn eggs on them.

Since then, my bettas have died, and I've reserved the 10 gallon tank for ramshorns. I feed them algae tabs and they love that shit. Some people would view my hobby as harboring pests, but I love my snails lol.

I might start selling them soon - not sure if you can transfer ramshorns in the mail, but they make a great cleanup crew.
