I tend to work on my Nook Mile Rewards at night, and sometimes it involves stopping by the Roost. I always thought it was interesting to drink coffee at night. I know the game never specifies if it’s caffeinated or decaffeinated, but I always thought what if there was a tea alternative.
This is a small sketch of my new OC Camellia. She’s based on a Eurasian Collard Dove (but more on the pink side), and she doesn’t recommend you burning your tongue right away.

I have been recreating parts of the town from New Leaf in New Horizons and for this project I tried my best to make the train station from New Leaf! I am super proud of how this project turned out with the limitations of what I have.

The most challenging part of this build was creating the custom design for Porter and finding a way to make it look good. Initially, I used a previously existing tank top custom design with him on it. However, I wanted him to be inside of the booth he usually stands in (the baby bed in this photo), and a shirt mannequin can only stand on the ground. With some problem solving, I designed Porter’s face on an umbrella and put it on top of the baby bed. Best I could do!

Something super cool that isn’t in these photos is that you can actually board the train! The train door is open and you can walk into the train (the back room) and take a seat on the train. Super neat, but it is still a WIP along with other features in my New Leaf inspired town.

I started playing the GameCube version again after a long time, and while resetting my village, I came across an interesting map!

Like wdym they got a fossil of a human head... Do they feel superior? Am I the strange one trying to pass? The other day I was telling my husband:

Isn't it weird they only eat fish, vegetables and fruit? We have a crocodile, a frog... They live in water.

They keep fish as best friends in a small tank.

Every time I get to fly and hear "that I need wings" is funny as heck.

Why is this human being living with animals?

I guess I just took my ADHD meds and this makes no sense.

I've been hiding from my responsibilities in my acnl town all day 😅

..and I really wish there was 12 design slots, I didn't have room for the bottom corners...once I get bushes, I'll hopefully be able to hide them better 😂

My first three villagers are still with “Layla” on Serenity. My original island, Lanai, I deleted in a fit of hate over the shape of the island and regret to this day, but on it I had Lucky. In his normal home. When Lucky showed up for Layla I was sooo excited because I love that dog no matter how many times he tells me I have a big round head.

Then he moved in and I discovered the starter villager homes are not their real homes and I was OfFeNdEd. Lucky in a starter home. Oh hells no. I started researching. Then I started designing these vacation homes. This was sheer torture for me. I like fishing, diving, and catching bugs. I like setting up areas around the island. I do not like designing hotel rooms or vacation homes. But I did it. Now my posse has their real homes. Who knew how cool Genji’s house would be!

I went into this thinking I’d have to suffer through finding all the components of each of the homes and doing the hard work of setting them up correctly. Nope. Isabelle did it instantly.

Worth all the pain and suffering.

this is such a niche question but which one do you like better? i personally like Tommy (the one with the flag) more bc he seems to be overlooked (especially in NH) and he usually is the one speaking in the smaller text.

also this is just a heehee haha question.

anyways who do you like more? and it doesn’t matter the reason or the game you prefer them in, just don’t be weird towards them.

It's my birthday once again!

i've tipped apart practically this whole area for these last 2 rocks to spawn, and they haven't yet. surely i'm missing something? the whole island is covered in decor, or weeds that i just planted, so these are the only 2 spots available for rocks to spawn, yet they don't. the top 3 spawned just fine, the bottom 3 are equal distance away from each other as the top ones, but they're not spawning. :C

I’m considering naming my next island Pesto. It would be a small town nestled in the woods, lots of baked goods, pasta and pizza (so of course, pesto!). Just that real comforting vibe of slow living, good food and sleepy days.

What are your food inspired island names? What’s the story behind them?

Finally got together for some island time! Nothing beats running around throwing petals and vibing to the gyroids together haha.

Spent the afternoon lost in the deep blue. There’s something so therapeutic about watching the rays and schools of fish glide by under the water.

Definitely needed this quiet reset.
