Hey guys
I know, from the title, I might sound like an idiot, but here me out.
Why was the remastered God of War 3 ported and not the PS3 game🥲
I don't really get the whole porting thing. But while some people are having a great time with this whole porting era now they forget that most android gamers (or at least a lot) don't really have access to a pc or PS due to lack of income or anything. And a lot of the people I know are like that, mostly a very bad low-end Android phone that can run PS2 games well enough to play (which is like, 30 fps, just playable), but it obviously runs games like ps3 games if they were natively on Android, and we all know that if a game was made on ps3 back in the days and was later published on Android, it would be easily playable on any phone that is here in the last few years.
Now sorry for yapping a lot, I just wanted to get that out and I hope that someone understands me or at least explains why it is always for the latest snapdragon or something
Thanks for reading
Edit: thanks to you guys, I understood that the PS3 way of running the games is a specified way that is hard to recompile or something, and that the PS4 is like a low-end pc as some described it, which makes it easier to recompile games while the PS4 deals with games in the same way as a pc does. So the question now is, whenever I look, I find that I need to have a phone that runs Vulkan 1.3, which I don't have. So is there any hope for any of those projects being re-recompiled or something like that for a lower range of devices?
