This is the Toad Familiar pattern by Maggie L. Wood knit up in Ricorumi DK with plastic safety eyes I found in a set many years ago.

So as the title says, I ordered more yarn but it may or may not be here in time (Rico Ricorumi DK cotton). I am unsure if I like either cloud option I have made, maybe it’s more of a technical issue, maybe it’s that the larger one isn’t as ‘clean’ with the hdc & dc stitches and the smaller one feels too small shrugs

I plan on making another ballon in green (I think this one looks good. It’s still open so I can stuff more if I wanted, but I think I am rolling with it as it’s like the 4th time I’ve tried to make a decent looking balloon.. don’t know what my issue is lol), a honey pot, and at least 3 more bees (still need to make the wings as well)

This is for a nursery mobile, and I originally planned on 5 strands. So I would need 3 clouds, 5 bees, 2 balloons, Pooh&Piglet and a honey pot. But I think I’m scraping the extra cloud/2 bees to save my sanity (and help with exhaustion).

I need this done by Sunday, and I have 2 toddlers at home, so I have about 2 hours during the day slightly uninterrupted and late at night and I’m feeling the burn out lol.

I can either undo the big one to match the smaller one, or visa versa. OR I can undo both and do a completely new cloud 2 times. For reference, the ballon is 54 stitches wide, and 32 rows if you count the dc end. Piglet is probably close to 4.5 inches tall

I also have sardnes garn line yarn in white (this rico yarn is cream) that I can use for the clouds instead ?
Any help would be appreciated!! (Also, sorry for the photo including my knees lol, I’m currently working next to my snoring husband 😂)

I’ve been crocheting for 2 years now and I absolutely adore making plushies. I have a tote full now and I’m so proud of every finished project. My question is, how do you cope with burnout? I’ve been trying to start a new project, but I get so blah about it and don’t even bother and that scares me. This is something that I wanna do for the rest of my life. What can I do to get excited about making fiber art again?

I made Link a couple years ago for my partner's birthday and more recently made him Zelda to complete the pair ❤️

For Link, I used a translated version of Becchin's pattern, which unfortunately is no longer available but All About Ami has some good notes on their blog. I modified the cap and freehanded the sword and Triforce logo (is that what it's called?? 😆). I don't remember which pattern I used for Zelda but it was heavily modified to give her a movable head like Link. I also changed the arms and banner.

The yarn is a mix of different weights and fibers. Basically I tried to make it work with whatever I could find in my collection haha

There are 9 little characters in total: Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, a Christmas Elf, Gingerbread Man, Snowman, Grinch, Reindeer, Polar Bear, and Penguin! 🥰

I had so much fun making all their little faces and details. They're all ready for Christmas!

Does anyone know how to get my hands on this labrador pattern? there are so few nice and kinda realistic ones out there, but this one is very cute! it seems to be published in a dutch crochet book, but i am not dutch, and dont know how to get my hands on the pattern

Only been crocheting for a month or so but I’m absolutely obsessed! When I came across this pattern on Etsy I knew I had to make him, as Attack on Titan is one of my favorite shows ever. The embroidering of the abs was a puzzle to me, and color changing on a decrease was definitely challenging, but I’m glad I persevered for my little Colossal Titan friend 😊
