Break The Sky Frontman Indecent Exposure at Musica

Post image
111 Upvotes

Went to the show at Musica on Friday only to see the man in the white shirt getting a handjob out in the open with his full penis exposed while sitting at the bar. It was an all ages show and there were quite a few young children there. Someone told him to stop and he basically mocked the guy and kept at it while saying, “I guess there are a few kids. Heh.” The rest of his band proceeded to defend his behavior and started getting belligerent with the man who asked the frontman to put his penis away because there were children around. On top of that, the whole band was incredibly rude to the other acts and heckling from the crowd. They were eventually told to leave Musica by staff. Beware: This guy had no issue having his genitals out in a crowded room in front of children.

The weather is great. The line moved fairly quickly. Don't wait to the last second!

I waited in line and was done in 35 minutes.

Parking near Depot Apartments

Where do you guys park if you’re living in Depot Apartments at Broadway and Exchange? Their garage parking is too expensive and the parking lot across the street said they are fully booked until next August. Apparently, 401 Lofts bought all the spaces.

Vivek Ramaswamy said Ohio shouldn’t be funding what he called “subpar universities”: Univ. of Akron, Cleveland State, Kent State, and Central State.

From the article:

“In an opinion article he [Ramaswamy] wrote for The Columbus Dispatch, Ramaswamy encouraged shutting down what he called struggling universities. He referred to Cleveland State, the University of Akron, Kent State, and Central State University as having previous challenges.

He tripled down on that idea in April.

“I don’t think you should be funding subpar universities,” Ramaswamy said to a student asking a question at a Turning Point USA event.”

Need an opinion about two Catholic schools.

Parents, students, alumni, or teachers familiar with Akron-area Catholic high schools — I’d appreciate some local perspectives.

If you had a choice between St. Vincent-St. Mary or Walsh Jesuit which would you choose and why?

I’m helping my son look at high-school options and trying to look beyond just the brochures and school websites. I’d especially like to hear from people with firsthand experience with one or more of these schools.

A few things I’m interested in:

Overall academics and college preparation

Scholarships and college opportunities

Student culture and whether kids generally feel welcome

Teacher and counselor support

Band, orchestra, theater, and other arts opportunities

Sports and extracurricular activities

School size and overall atmosphere

Whether you felt the tuition/private-school experience was worth it

For alumni and parents, looking back, do you think attending one of these schools actually made a meaningful difference later in life — college, career opportunities, connections, or otherwise?

And if you had the decision to make again, would you choose the same school?

I’m not trying to rank or criticize any of the schools. I’m genuinely interested in hearing different experiences — positive, negative, or somewhere in between — before we make a decision.

If you have experience with more than one of the three, I’d especially appreciate hearing how they compared.

Thank you

A concerned parent.

Gas Provider

I just bought a house in Akron that was being sold by an estate and all the utilities were shut off. There was also a known gas leak so the gas line is pinned. The leak has been fixed, but now for my really stupid question. Who do I call to get the gas turned back on? I called the city and put the utilities in my name, so water, sewer, and electric are all good to go, but I can't find any contact information on the city's website for gas.

I feel so silly, this seems like something I should be able to figure out but I am drawing a blank.

Problems at Circle K gas pumps

Hey Akron. I've had 3 instances in the past month at Barberton, Norton, and Wadsworth Circle K's where I got charged for 5 gallons of gas and only received about 4.5. I have a couple gas cans that are very precise and when I filled them, they were short. I've let the workers know and they look at me like I'm a lunatic even after I said I wasn't asking to be refunded. I'm half tempted to take some scales and measuring containers and video it, just to prove a point. I just wanted to let you all know to watch out for that. I can only imagine how much money they could skim at a half gallon per 5 over the couse of a day.

Found-ish dog

I was driving north on Cuyahoga Street, and there was a medium-sized white dog running on the road. He/she turned onto Dolphin Drive, just north of Himelright Lodge, and that's where we lost him/her. Looks like a possible husky mix, maybe 40-ish pounds, black and white (checked? houndstooth?) collar. Tried to catch the dog, but he/she was super freaked out. I hope the dog stays safe and finds their way home.

ETA, this was around 3:45pm on Friday, October 23.
