One thing we found, as the city, metro and national parks open up to more events, they typically have set vendors and that might limit your creativity for a wedding.

Truly is a beautiful place with many locations for a ceremony. My wedding there is one of the best days of my life. No regrets

We got married at the heritage barn in stow, located at silver springs park right by the lake. It was awesome

Wing foot lake has a few pavilions with fireplaces in them. The rental is super cheap and you have to pay for a liquor license if you plan on drinking but it’s worth checking out.

Same! We did ours in March on one of the coldest days of the year and use the pavilion that had a fireplace on each end and it stayed perfectly warm. The trick is you have to pull the fire out a little bit from under the chimney or all the heat will go straight up. My brother and his fiancé were so impressed that they ended up doing their wedding at the same place the following summer at the pavilion closest to the lake. And we’ve had it quite a few friends to engagement parties, photos, baby showers, retirement parties, and the like there after our wedding.

I think they have new doors on the pav we rented and it looks much nicer now!

Firestone Metro Park has a lovely area as well as a beautiful shelterhouse for rent, in case of weather.
