So far I'm 100% sure it's not the windshield or doors, because, water pools under the passenger seat (my car is rhd) and it flows from the back, near where the bottom seatbelt bolt is, and the boot also gets soaked, and i saw some water marks on the boot trim with the boot light in it, so I'm like 70% sure its coming from above that part, but not sure where.

I stripped the interior and put chalk all over hoping it might give me some answers, and I'll leave it in the rain to see where its coming from, unless there's things I don't know,

I checked the rear windshield motor and pump, the entire rear winshield and the tailights and found nothing, is it possible that water could get in other ways? Like through the windshield but not directly inside where it meets the glass, but rather from the outside, flowing inside onto that trim, i also analysed the dust trails, and found nothing linking it to anything above that part, unless its coming from the holes where the factory touring spoiler attaches

After about a day of rain, about 2 liters of water ended up in the car, and it seems to only be heavy rain that does this, i also noticed that the part in the boot that is elevated over the fuel tank/rear glove box area also got a bit moist, im not sure if that had to do with the leak or was just condensation.

DE 5AT, but it’s JDM spec so I get some quirky features like Autodj, Centrelink, Carwings and that horrible JDM key.

Starter broke a day ago, so it’s in the shop unfortunately, AC blend door motor gear is stripped so there’s a fat annoying click, I don’t think the park lights work on the headlights, oil pressure sensor is broken (shoots on max kpa at ON position) and passenger window switch doesn’t work 🥲🥲🥲

Had a weird issue with the car since I've had it. When it's cold, the car feels extremely jumpy. Its mainly in 1st, if im cruising along the car almost jumps on and off the revs making the entire car shake forward and backwards. I noticed it also does it at low rpms in second and between 2-2.5k in 3rd. Again, this is only when its cold. As soon as the engine/box/diff are warmed up its absolutely fine.

Had SMF, Clutch & release bearing done not long ago. Getting round to replacing diff oil soon. Only think I can think of is the o2 sensor code coming from my test pipes. But surely a downstream o2 sensor won't affect fuelling this much?

Wondering if this is just a quirk of the car, or if its something I need to fix. I look like a right muppet for anyone walking past when it does it in first 😂

Is there a full Tomei exhaust kit available or am I stuck piecing everything together?? If so I’m thinking of getting Tomei cat back, Meghan resonated test pipes or long tube headers

So I bought a second hand diff and the tone rings teeth are damaged, what happens if I just run the diff without replacing it? It is a drift car and I already have abs disconnected, I also read it will turn off traction control and vdc… which is ideal. My main worry is it won’t throw my car into limp mode right? These pics are how the ring currently is I want to see if I should even bother replacing it before I throw it in.

I bought my Z a year ago now and when I bought it the owner told me he had put in a stage 2 clutch. He told me the squeaking is “clutch chatter” and that it’s normal with upgraded clutches. At first I believed him but I had issue with information he gave me recently so I’m doubting its truth now. It goes away when I press the clutch in so my best guess is that it’s in some way not installed correctly or oily/dirty if that’s possible. Just trying to see what the issue is so I can get rid of the annoying whining.

Hey guys, I got the engine in this weekend and hooked most critical things up. I’m just trying to hook up the essentials so I can crank it up for a second and check OP before I fully assemble the car. I’m getting these codes and a crank no start. Going to go through everything again when I get home from work today, but curious on what would be considered essential to start. Transmission is in btw.
