Discussion I never realized that Josh was also a writer

I’m currently doing my umpteenth rewatch of 30 Rock and after noticing Josh is in the writers’ room a lot (especially when compared to Tracy and Jenna). I decided to google why this is, and came across an answer that said Josh is an actor/writer hybrid like they sometimes have on SNL.
I personally feel like the show doesn’t really ever actually say this and you’re supposed to assume it based on him being in the writers’ room.
What do you guys think?
