2 large, 1 medium chicken drumstick (being conservative with size), nearly 1.5 cups deskinned and deboned with some cartridge still. Debone and deskin after boiled.
Thaw, boil in salt, then pan fry until crispy. I added garlic powder and 4 tsp of ranch powder seasoning. 362 cal for chicken, 50g protein, + 40 cal seasoning. Boil chicken for 20 mins and pan fry for about 12 mins on medium heat while stirring a good amount.
Vegetarian baked beans, 1/2 cup, 110 cal 6g protein.
2.5 cups raw collard greens 25 cals, 1/2 tbs of imperial butter 17.5 cals, 25 cal 5g protein diced ham slice, and a 3.5 cal stevia packet. Add onion powder, garlic powder, sauté ham, then add butter and stevia. Add collard greens, seasonings, then mix, and steam for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Full cooked volume, 2 and 3/4 cup.
I had a serious craving for Walmart ranch chicken wings but wanted a cheaper choice. The ranch seasoning was only $2 and everything else was at home! Waaaay lower fat as well.

There’s a little Japanese-style brunch place right downstairs from my apartment, and this is what I end up ordering pretty much every weekend, plus a coffee ☕
The steak is the best part. It’s got a lot of marbling, so it’s super tender and juicy!!! And the green sauce on top cuts through the richness. Then there’s a soft egg with a sprinkle of chili, broccolini, quinoa, corn, edamame and a handful of pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Breaking the yolk into the quinoa is the move.
I logged it once out of curiosity. It came out to around 850 kcal with about 55 g of protein, which feels pretty balanced for how filling it is. Lots of veg, whole grains and protein. The fat is on the higher side, mostly from the steak, seeds and sauce, but honestly that’s also why it tastes so good lol
