Hi Ypsi! If you’re looking for a lowkey neighborhood to take your kids to trick or treat on Halloween our neighborhood would LOVE to have you!

Most kids in the neighborhood are all grown but we do have a lot of neighbors eager to participate in the Halloween tradition and hand out candy. And many are handing out full size candy bars!

We’re located near downtown ypsi and recommend starting on the 200 block of s Washington. I’ll add a map later this week once we get the finalized count of participating homes.

Hi! I’m moving to the area in early November for work and would appreciate apartment recommendations or experiences from current/recent residents.

I’m coming from the South and don’t know Ann Arbor well. A lot of the apartments I’ve found seem older than what I’m used to, so I’m hoping to find something renovated, well-maintained, and with appliances that work reliably.

I’m looking for:

• A studio or 1-bedroom
• Ideally $1,200–$1,500 before utilities, but I could stretch a little for a nicely renovated apartment
• Reliable management and responsive maintenance

Safety is my biggest priority, so I’d especially appreciate feedback about the surrounding area and any issues you’ve experienced.

I’ll be relying on virtual tours, so firsthand experiences would really help. Thanks!

1. Maker Works inherited ~15,000 Lost Wax Jewelry Molds that need a new home! While intended for Jewelry, these have a variety of other fun potential opportunities (I would not recommend pouring chocolate into them, as much as I want to...) Free, but need to go by November 1st.
   Drop in: Thursday: 1pm - 9pm. Friday 9am - 12pm, or 3pm - 6pm. Saturday 10am - 4pm. Monday 9am - 1pm.

2. There's a -not- free Fettuccine (Spaghetti) Bridge Building Event this Sunday! It's fun, mostly geared for adults (you can bring a kid if you've forgotten how to have fun with a hot glue gun;).
