We're near Sukiyaki's Japanese 10 year anniversary, and I wanted to celebrate that by doing some sort of "spiritual sequel" to YKW3 that's not related to the original BBQ story but takes place mostly in BBQ 10 years after the events of YKW3

Nate, now 21, has forgotten about Yokai, while Buck, also now 21 (we can assume he was Nate's age (11) back then), has moved out of St. Peanutsberg to go to study in college in another town. Hailey's also in college too...........in Springdale.

So what does that leave us with? A new MC, a St. Peanutsberg that has changed a lot over the past 10 years, several returning characters aged up, and of course, NEW MERICAN YOKAI!

There's also a new category of Yokai: Cryptid Yokai, Yokai based around cryptids and fearsome critters! These guys are on the front pages of Hoaxed It!, a newspaper that replaces Fancy That! after the company that made those newspapers went bankrupt a few years ago.

I'm playing as Hailey Anne, and my Yo-kai Watch is Rank E. I've beaten Snartle once, but I want to befriend him before upgrading my watch, because he gets stronger when you rank up.

But I don't have meat because I can only get it in Shopper's Row and I can't go there and I don't have an Yo-kai with popularity. These are the only two things that could help me, besides wisps, and I don't have them. What should I do? Is there any way I can get meat? Or should I just level up my watch and do him later?

I'm playing Yo-kai Watch Blasters on my modded 3DS, but every time I start the game, Koross appears and accuses me of changing the system date, even though I haven't changed anything. He tells me not to change the date for two days, but even after waiting the full two days without changing anything, he still shows up every time I launch the game. Anyone know how to fix this?

With Yo-Kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain officially in development, there is a small possibility that if it performs well in sales, it could entice Level 5 into making more remasters or modern ports for old instalments in the franchise.

One of the games which I would love to see get a modern remaster would be Yo-Kai Watch Blasters.

I poured my heart and soul into Blasters and I always felt like it was the type of game that could of heavily benefitted from avoiding the unfortunate circumstance that was the Nintendo 2DS/3DS discontinuation; this, alongside a large fraction of 3DS users buying a Switch (apparently 24% in 2019 for US owners according to a study), and the caveat in which Nintendo's publishing often prevents games from reaching any other platforms (unless you use unconventional, sailing methods).

I saw a post from this subreddit about a month ago where a single Japanese streamer had about 25k concurrent viewers whilst playing Blasters, which is pretty crazy, though this was more likely contributed by YKW's comeback than Blasters itself.

That being said, I think Blasters has lots of potential and depending on how it is executed, a remake wouldn't be a half bad idea (at least in my opinion)

I'm diving back into the franchise and I've been able to patch my Busters 2 with a fan-made english translation, it works fine and all except for one detail... it stops being okay when I update the game to ver 1.5, lots of content returns to Japanese and it's impossible for me to play anymore

I got another trad but which is noticeably worse and that I tried first, before noticing a lot of content was untranslated and in Italian, for some reason ? I might just have to use that instead if I don't find a solution

The version I have right now is a 1.0 rom which I manually patched with Kuriimu2, then updated to 1.5 and DLC with the CIA files I could get (I have no clue if there is a way to just download the 1.5 CIA to directly patch it in its uploaded form, it's hard for me to understand how to get that myself)
Otherwise could I just "make" a 1.5 CIA file with the 3 files I have (JPN 1.0, 1.5 Update and DLC) and patch it afterwards ?
I've been told 1.5 was a big update, I'll be sad not to have access to it :(

I think these 2 sets have arguably one of the best folders in the whole medal series, their materials are better, the plastic sleeve is merged within the paper descriptions and the artwork is phenomenal (although the yokai are only using their medal artwork counterparts). Anyways, the Kuroi medals are based on a segment in the anime where the yokai are all dark and scummy, while the Sangokushi medals are based on the Sangokushi game which is based on the 3 kingdoms.
