Recently found that xcloud has 2 web versions, for both of them the UI is definitely different, but what's interesting is that play.xbox.com feels like it has lower latency, while the stream also looks blurrier

Has anyone else noticed this or am I crazy? Curious if there's actually a difference in streaming performance between the two or if it's just my perception

For almost the entirety of october, every game I tried to play on the Xbox via cloud gaming failed to launch.

It will load about 50%, then an error message will pop. And it's driving me crazy because no one seems to have the same problem right now when I try to find a solution. Others HAD the problem, and their solutions (system reset and launching first trough the website) don't work for me.

Xbox's new Cloud Playtime pricing is interesting because it changes the subscription question entirely.

Microsoft is testing three options:

$3.99 for 10 hours
$7.99 for 25 hours
$11.99 for 50 hours

The hours don't expire, and you don't need Game Pass to use them. You still need an eligible game you own or a supported free-to-play title.

For people gaming every day, a subscription or dedicated console probably makes more sense.

But for someone who plays occasionally, travels a lot, or just wants to stream an existing game without paying for another full subscription, buying hours could be appealing.

The catch is that you're paying for access to the streaming hardware, not the games themselves.

Would you actually use this?

Or does charging for gaming time make cloud gaming feel less attractive, even if it's cheaper for occasional use?

I am able to sign in and get to the dashboard. When I attempt to load a game, it will get through the “getting things ready” phase but then it gets stuck. The game will load in the background, but will crash shortly after.

How do I fix this? I have tried deleting and re-adding the web app to my Home Screen. I have tried clearing my browser cache. I have tried restarting my device. I also use better xcloud, and have tried disabling that to see if that was the issue.

I’m running this on an iPhone 17 Pro on iOS version 27.2.

Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone know if it is possible to view digitized physical games using the "owned" filter on the xcloud web app?

Through the Xbox app on iPhone it is possible to see them, but they do not appear on the xcloud web app

I was so excited to see the COD WF 4 tile in Cloud Play and then it asked me to purchase.

If buying hours doesn't affect the wait time, does that mean Game Pass users are still prioritized? Or that even if you pay, you'll wait in line with those who have the option not to pay with ads?
I guess in a couple of weeks we'll find out for sure, but the marketing team has a challenge ahead of them...

What resolution does it make you play? given that the resolution was linked to the level of the game pass, without subscription what quality does the service offer you?

On Xcloud, Fc 26 has this issue of random frame rat drops which makes it unpleasant to play. I don't how are people okay with paying their hard earned money to get such an unpleasant gaming experience in return. This issue has been there since quite a while now and the company has not fixed or acknowledged it yet.

Hello, I recently tried to run XBOX app for cloud gaming via FireTV, but it looks like the mapping for the controller buttons goes in conflict with other functions. In particular the 2 central buttons (Menù and View) do not work correctly (one is trying to close the app while the other does nothing). Any suggestion?

I think that since so much prominence is being given to badges with the great improvements received recently, that it might be interesting to bring back the badge awarded to the members who participated in the preliminary session.

Would you like it to appear on the profile and other sites like the other badges?
