In a couple of days I’m gonna get paid and I was wondering what game I should get/ play next I am currently at the end of control resonant.
I love action adventure games but I am also open to trying new genres.

That's what the new leadership implies; Xbox was never profitable.

If this applies to the 360, how? That console was by all measures a huge success. MS even charged for online service, and millions of players paying £40 every year is a whole lot more money for them. Their games were also hugely successful, as they were good back then and budgets weren't insane.

Even after the billion dollar red ring, it must have been profitable after Gold, licensing, game sales especially exclusives.

Has anyone sold their Series X recently and regretted it?

I'm on the fence, I'm a console collector but I feel like I could get the full value back. I mostly played Game Pass so I wouldn't really be losing a library. I guess the backwards compatibility means I could explore some 360 games I missed (my launch 360 is still alive somehow but using it seems like tempting fate).

I have nothing against the system, I just have two kids and no time.

I want a good deal, and unsure how much I should be trying to get one of these for?

I’ve been looking for a series X console pretty much since release, say 5 to 6 years but everywhere I look in Canada they have been sold out.

I’ve checked all the typical stores: EB games, Costco, Walmart, Best Buy, Staples, Amazon, etc and none of them have had the console for the better part of a decade.

Can someone explain what is going on here?

If you’re in Canada and own one of these consoles where did you pick yours up?

Consoles’s been out for a while now why aren’t we seeing any restocks?

I am mostly digital but I typically have 1 new release physical game at a time, and either sell them or trade them towards the next.

I currently had Star Wars galactic racer and enjoyed it, played it quite a bit, but I traded it towards mw4. Ever since I’ve been playing galactic racer without the disc obviously and have gotten hooked on it.

My guess is I won’t lose the access to the game/the license until the game gets through their trade hold period, then shelved and eventually sold to someone else.

1. Avatars should appear more often, e.g. on the dashboard or in a Netflix watch party
2. A new, skeuomorphic dashboard like the Blades and NXE dashboards on the 360 (or better yet, the ability to choose your own dashboard)
3. No Generative AI. Whatsoever.
4. Games room; this was a really cool concept
5. More exclusives (Obviously)
6. A program like Xbox Live Arcade to support smaller indie games
7. The ability to run PC games on Xbox
8. Xbox Marketplace and Steam should both be available
9. Cool special editions like the Minecraft Xbox One S or the recent 25th anniversary Series X
10. Most Importantly, the Xbox Pizza Hut app

Am I the only one who noticed this? I haven’t seen anything online about it. I figured it’d be a much bigger issue. I’ve tested this on multiple games, if I have a mic plugged in while talking in game chat it clips it.

I own both a PS5 and a XSX, but Xbox being my main console this has always been a huge bother for me. Playstation allowing you to clip your voice was a very nice feature. I just noticed within the past 3-4 days I can finally record my own voice. Has Xbox put a statement out about this? is this here to stay? very exciting for me.

Don’t get me wrong I like the convience of batteries but at the same time, I hate it because every few weeks I need to make my trip to the store and get batteries which is fine but also inconvenient because of weather in winter months. And as a person who WAS a long time PlayStation user I’m used to USB charging,why don’t Xbox controllers have them and are there any Xbox compatible controllers that don’t use batteries but are still WIRELESS I don’t like wired.

I don't know if anyone else can relate to this, but I've always been an online multiplayer gamer my whole life, but ever since prices of pretty much everything have increased, I came to a realization that we shouldn't be paying for online multiplayer, so I started looking at alternatives. One of them at first was being able to do a workaround by only playing free to play games, which has been and still is a fun alternative given that there are some quality free to play games out there. However, I also realized that I had a backlog of games and games that go on sale for cheap that I could play and enjoy by myself, so I began playing them one by one over time. Anyways, If it wasn't for me refusing to pay for online multiplayer, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy these wonderfully crafted single player campaigns, shoutout to the devs who put their heart and soul to these games over the years

Apparently, if you have the discontinued physical version of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, while claiming digital license, you also get a modern Minecraft license.

This is the only way to get both right now, since the original migration offer expired on November 30, 2019. The "Favorites Pack" DLC works too.

Not sure if this was an award given to employees or put on display at Microsoft. This was the framework for indie companies to develop their games for the XBOX Live Marketplace.

I only had a small amount of time before leaving the house today, but every OG Xbox game I load up then shows up in the achievements list with a 0/0 and a zero gamer score, which many are assuming means they are gonna be populated with achievements, such as Morrowind and knights of the old republic, I got excited when I started checking other games, but when KOF Neowave showed up on my achievements list too, I started thinking that it’s just every OG XBOX game just shows up now on that list whether or not they actually have achievements. Maybe it’s a bug, or maybe now every game will show up on your achievements list now, regardless of whether or not they have achievements.

I know certain OG games are getting achievements, but so far, everything I try shows up on my list. Has anybody launched an OG XBOX game in the last couple of days and not have it show up in their achievements list?

Anyone here get their invite and is going? I have watched some clips and videos of the other fanfest events this year and I hope this one (being the home of MST/XBOX) is the best one outside of the LA one. have been to the LA one and I don't think anything tops those so far.
