Rachel Bextel, a local running for governor, was on Tucker Carlson, and said she didn't believe we landed on the moon. Anyone else here agree with her? Or is it lunacy? I imagine the Russians and Chinese just might have poked fun at us already if we hadn't been there.... repeatedly, I might add.

The image comes from NBC regarding early voting in the Wyoming 2026 midterm election. I can understand not voting in the general election as a Wyoming resident, but the overwhelming lack of young voters is pretty troubling. There are around 80k people from 18-29 in Wyoming, and they aren’t at the polls. Some napkin math shows that like 1000 people below the age of 30 have actually voted early, insanely low even for this place. Is it apathy? I know I avoided voting in the past out of despair, but now seems like the time to rouse people to actually go do something. (Also it’s mostly women who have voted)

Came across this in my YouTube feed. I do like to get perspectives from outside the US news sources. Thought some of you might find it interesting to see how Wyoming is perceived.
ADDED: It looks like a number of comments have been fully removed. Including mine. Why?

Sharing WyoUnited’s voter guide, which breaks down candidates’ positions on abortion and prioritizing maternal healthcare access. The guide only examines candidates in contested state legislative races. If this issue is important to you, give it a look.

I feel like taking a drive.
What about Wyoming Peak?
EDITED: In other news I learned WYDOT has a live webcam on the closed Warren Bridge.

I'm at 7500 feet in Western Wyoming. When it starts to get cold out the flies start to come indoors.
I built this cabin, I built this thing pretty tight and they still find a way in.
Does anyone know of a chemical treatment that I can spray around doors and windows that may help to stop them getting in?
I assume they are cluster flies, I don't actually know.

Interesting they decided to come out swinging with the "national security" horsesh*t – not even bothering to pretend that those jobs would go to Wyomingites.
