In a few pieces about WW2 i have read and seen, i've encountered snippets of stories where the Japanese seem to have had a mentality that they were a superior ethnicity. It's always been a very interesting piece of history to me, but none of what i've read or seen has really lingered on the topic long enough for me to learn about it properly. Are there any documentaries, books or video essays i could watch/read that go in depth about this? Horrors in The East is one that i've found but not touched yet, would appreciate some feedback on whether this is a good source of info.

Looking for any resources outside of simple Google searches that have detailed information about the history of the 182nd Field Artillery Battalion. It was, I believe, a 155mm Long Tom battalion, that was Corps artillery for XV Corps in Western Europe.
