And those are only the team trophies. How many MVP trophies does she have?

2

u/mpaski Sep 21 '26

In order of the trophies listed there, 4 + 2 + 2 + 2 +N/A + 2 + 0 so that's 12 Finals MVP or equivalent. Add 2 W MVPs and one Euroleague MVP, not a lot of people compare

The question everyone who needs to ask themselves on an ongoing basis is this, and it will really put things into perspective- "Who'll give a damn a thousand years from now"

3

Honestly top 10 of all Time

Well Done Sis💯

The unrivaled trophy looks ridiculous in comparison to everything else. I know she’d obviously want it on there

-11

u/longetrd Sep 15 '26

I love Stewie. Loved her at UConn, but when she started there, she hated Gino because he pushed her so hard. Just a short time ago she said I loved Yukon, but I wouldn’t go back. Take a good look at that trophy case Brianna. It’s got your time at UConn written all over it.

u/po1ar_opposite Sep 15 '26

“Stewie, can you win another one?”

<Stewie shrug, totally nonchalantly> “yeah”

14

u/sdcumb Sep 15 '26

The Gold Standard! #stewyork

A true GOAT

4

u/ghiblix Sep 14 '26

my goat 🐐🖤

14

u/ShaneLizard904 Sep 14 '26

I know it probably won’t happen but imagine if the Liberty go on a run or even win the championship over the Lynx or Aces. Best year ever for a player across several leagues/competitions?

3

u/meeoww67 Sep 14 '26

Manifesting!!!

1

u/IndividualBake214 Sep 14 '26

Do u think she’ll retire at the end of the year?

4

u/IMissWinning Sep 15 '26

It would be extremely surprising to me if she did.

9

u/Kitchen_Moment_6289 Sep 14 '26

The Fiba World Cup MVP watch from yesterday, too

-7

u/exelion_star_co Sep 14 '26

One of those WNBA Championship trophies actually belongs to Minnesota…

29

u/mkl122788 Sep 14 '26

She is and always has been the most complete player in terms of skills and physical gifts that we’ve ever seen.

A’ja is probably better in her singular position than Stewie is in any singular one, but Stewie’s versatility on both offense and defense is insane.

I was worried after her achilles rupture that she wouldn’t be the same, but she has come back and been at least close to as good as she was before.

Just an absolutely immense talent.

u/Next_Preference2701 Sep 15 '26

Aja is better than Stewie in alot of categories especially defense

20

u/VerdeForest Sep 14 '26

She’s completed the game of basketball

69

u/Fat_Yankee Sep 14 '26

But Wait, there’s more!

She has 2 high school state titles and a U-16 title

14

u/yohosse Sep 14 '26

Her Wikipedia page might have the longest list of accolades ever.

64

u/JD325 Sep 14 '26

Put her in the HOF yesterday.

37

u/quality_control_test Sep 14 '26

All she does is win.

4

u/sdcumb Sep 15 '26

No matter what!

47

u/Optimal-Talk3663 Sep 14 '26

Not to mention the WNBA MVP’s, the World Cup MVP’s

She should come to the WNBL and try and win

🤣🤣🤣🤣 please don't disrespect Maya moore like that cc is a peasant compared to her stop

21

u/waterkisser Sep 14 '26

She's just so stinking good at basketball.

30

u/relentlessreading Sep 14 '26

She’s won FIBA and Unrivaled this year already. Maybe the Liberty are going to go further in WNBA than expected.

20

u/Previous-Loquat-6846 Sep 14 '26

STEWIE 🙌🏽

47

u/haydeng2023 Sep 14 '26

she’s just a professional winner at all levels and im not sure anyone will even get close to this kind of resume ever again

55

u/rsred Sep 14 '26

the 4 natty’s is the most impressive for me, and all the other trophies are pretty damn impressive. the 4 natty’s are just not even heard of since kareem or bill walton.

42

u/jules99b Sep 14 '26

Feels like people needed to remember who Stewie is. Maybe she’s not the top player in the W this year but there are very few people I’d take over her on my team. So happy she’s a Liberty where she can hopefully add another trophy to that insane case. I do wonder if she’ll even have room in her house anymore for them though lol

7

u/PennethHardaway Sep 14 '26

Real hoopers already knew

25

u/Former_Ad_736 Sep 14 '26

When she hasn't been the best player in the WNBA, she's been the second best.

44

u/cariosity Sep 14 '26

I'll never be over the 4 National championships, but the entire résumé is impressive. She's a bucket trophy.

48

u/uveka Sep 14 '26

She is so talented. A true leader. I don't really know how is she perceived in USA, but in Europe she is so respected. In Spain tv with former teammates of Stewie they always said, we shouldn't be afraid of Clark or Reese, though they are so talented, but we should fear Stewart, she is beyond talent. She always knows what to do, what the match need, how to carry a team, being a leader. All those trophies are not a coincidence for sure, and she's "only" 32. We all know the list will be longer than this.

22

u/lajay85 Sep 14 '26

She just wins

30

u/Blacketh Sep 14 '26

she’s my gateway to women’s basketball. I followed her junior year at UConn and have been a fan ever since. she’s not the goat but by god she does nothing but win.

14

u/Successful-Rope7223 Sep 14 '26

Pretty impressive

30

u/badwvlf Sep 14 '26

Missing MVP awards js

39

u/almostcurly Sep 14 '26

This is just showing team awards she won, she needs at least another trophy case for her individual accolades

2x WNBA finals mvp

2x WNBA mvp

8x WNBA all star

6x all WNBA 1st team

WNBA ROTY

Scoring title

Unrivaled finals mvp

2x fiba women's world Cup mvp

2021 Olympic mvp

Euroleague mvp

4X NCAA MOP

3x Naismith college player of the year

Gonna need a few more cases lol

21

u/herlanrulz Sep 14 '26

What no spelling bee trophies?

58

u/elleten10 Sep 14 '26

& this doesn’t even include all her mvp awards 😅🗽

10

u/almostcurly Sep 14 '26

This is just the team award she's won! She'll need 2 more trophy cases for all the individual accolades she has

6

u/OverallFrosting708 Sep 14 '26

Bet she'd trade em all for one more Cathy Cup

-24

u/kwanzaabot6 Sep 14 '26

She's an awesome basketball player, don't get me wrong. I'm still extremely bitter about that championship they stole from the Lynx

27

u/IsThisMe8 Sep 14 '26

If we didn't need her for 5x5, I would say that she should go for 3x3 gold at the next Olympics

10

u/McJumbos Sep 14 '26

Why not both 🤔🙏🙏

34

u/after_tomorrow Sep 14 '26

I was thinking about this, and considering this is perhaps why Stewie handles pressure so well. She’s been through so many instances of extreme pressure, extreme undefeated streaks, and extreme legacy to uphold. She also understands the feeling of relief/onto the next day mentality that’s necessary.

15

u/ChemicalFun1473 Sep 14 '26

Definition of a basketball professional

32

u/joyjunky Sep 14 '26

Her 4 MOPs to go with the 4 NCAA championships probably won’t be matched in a long time, if at all.

8

u/mojo021 Sep 14 '26 edited Sep 14 '26

She is up there with Kareem in amazing basketball resumes. Kareem only lost 2 games in college. But he has more NBA MVPs and NBA championships and an insane 71 games win streak in high school. Also they briefly made dunking illegal in college because of him.

23

u/real_eEe Sep 14 '26

Kareem (3) is the only other player to have more than two MOP, so yeah, 4 is never ever happening again. It's one of the craziest things in sports honestly.

24

u/Vice4Life Sep 14 '26

The 4 NCAA championships will almost certainly never happen again.

9

u/dogpownd Sep 14 '26

One of one.

58

u/Borg_Tech_Support Sep 14 '26

How many people can say the won a NCAA Championship every year in college? That alone is insane.

26

u/pickledginger404 Sep 14 '26

Literally just her and her classmates.

43

u/Justtojoke Sep 14 '26

Lets give Stewie her flowers

She is entirely too humble

25

u/ChoicesCat Sep 14 '26

There are people in the MVP thread calling her getting it political. Bruh.

3

u/FireFanMan Sep 14 '26

Trolls. Ignore them. Stewie was hands down our MVP.

18

u/dogpownd Sep 14 '26

Those people are delusional.
