ID Request Texas [South East]
Dog found this one, appears to have been swimming in the water not too long ago (green specs from water plants/ was 20 feet from a pond) it was huge. Doesn’t look like a venomous snake I would know, but am also unfamiliar with the types of snakes here

ID Request Snake was on my porch [Central OK, US]
Snake was on my porch this evening.
[Central Oklahoma]
He wandered off back toward our back field while I was trying to get a picture, which was a little rude on his part but I…<sunglasses on> let it slide.

We saw this snake near Tourtour in the Provence in southern France. I would be very thankful, if one of the excellent experts in this community could tell me, what snake it is. Many thanks, Sören

ID Request [Location Unknown] Which Dendrelaphis is this?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have been tracking down various footage of snakes in the wild actually seizing prey for the sake of archiving them and cannot identify the species in this video. It is obviously a Dendrelaphis but I have no idea where this clip was originally filmed.

Just Sharing Blacktailed Rattlesnake with a Banded Tail and Young Rattle [Maricopa County, Arizona]
Blacktailed Rattlesnakes (Crotalus molossus) often have faint light bands on their tails, which can be confusing to observers who believe that they can only be solid black. On this one, it's just barely visible, appearing as black and dark grey bands in a ratio similar to a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake. These are not hybrids, as is often suggested by people online. A more accurate way of viewing an all-black tail from this species: a banded tail with variable lighter bands, which often darken to be indistinguishable from the darker ones.
The rattle on this snake is also complete, which includes the full button that the snake was born with. The small, last segment, shows the rounded tip (prebutton), and notch that it gained with that first shed skin. This creates a full button, which it may rattle without making any sound. The subsequent sections (not "buttons," as they are often mistakenly called) are left with each shed skin, which a young snake may do several times in a year. The shape of the rattle, too, indicates its age here. The strong taper, with each segment being larger than the previous, says that this snake is growing quickly. Once growth slows and nearly stops, each segment will be similar or identical in size to the previous, indicating an older snake.
This one was found near Phoenix a few years back.

ID Request Saw this in my yard [East Africa, Tz]
Saw this slithering thing in our backyard. At first, I got scared and bolted. Then I stood as far as I could and took this picture. Sorry if it's not clear enough. I'm not particularly fond of slithering creatures, but it looked harmless enough, I suppose.
