Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the poor photos, never seen this guy before, what is it? Sounded really weird

I’ve never seen this bird outside our balcony before. Definitely not our typical pigeon lol. Does anyone know what bird this is? Sorry this is all I have, not the best quality

About 14 to 16 inches tall.

Was thinking duck but there doesn’t seem to be many completely black ducks around here maybe cormorant? Doesn’t seem like the place for them

Picture was taken in August!

At 8:30 pm i heard this sound from the window but no app could identify it because of the ambulance and motorcycle sound in the background. Does anyone know which type of bird thid is?

sorry for bad quality video haha

Hi! Is this a Grackle? Is it injured? And what’s the yellow belled bird near it. The pigeon and yellow/tan bird are wary of the black one.

Location: South CA

Is it an osprey? It was on a branch outside the house and it seemed like smaller birds were following it but it could be that I misinterpreted that.

I tried my best to get a photo but I did get a very clear recording. This call was LOUD and I could see palm fronds rustling but it didn't ever come out. Any ideas?
