inverted G forces can quickly reverse the effects of G-LOC, just hold W for a moment when near black out and your pilot will be wide awake, but it won't do it if you do black out

yeah it isn't healthy realistically but this is video game so who cares. set the thing to one variable that tracks how long you've been in positive or negative g depending on stamina and g force tolerace and all that and call it a day, like it wouldn't make you feel like a zombie afterwards and probably break something

W for me is throttle up so I just use the mouse to pitch down?

You should change that. I use the scroll wheel for throttle a lot of people use something like shift. Wasd for full plane control is a game changer

Ideally shift should be throttle up (ctrl as throttle down),  so you can have wasd and qe as control surfaces, but that can work in a pinch if you're fine risking your alignment

me personally i use w/s for throttle and shift for pitch up and ctrl for pitch down, all the rest is standard as far as keybinds for control surfaces go

WASD should be the second full plane control so that you can free look with C while simultaneously being able to evade by using WASD.

You can use the target tracking camera but I find the motion of it throws off my direction

1k GE bundle of crew exp is enough to max out both pilot and a ground maintenance, and even something will drop to gunners
