I have to take this class next semester and my only choice is Scott Johnson, I haven't heard great things about him but he's my only choice since I can only take online classes as of now. I'm already stuck with a not so great professor for MARK 3321 so I don't want to add another one to the list. I could take INSY 2303 at tcc with a much better professor, but then I'd be part-time at uta and lose my transfer scholarship. Advice?

had an exam today and the girl next to me had her whole phone out during it. hiding her phone under the paper exam and behind her pencil pouch. it never ceases to amaze me the bravery people have. me personally? i just accept the L if i know im gonna do shit on an exam 😭 the risk and adrenaline of potentially getting caught cheating is not worth it for me.

knowing that there’s people passing their classes by obviously cheating leaves a bad taste in my mouth while i’m shedding blood, sweat, and tears into studying. not fair at all

I’m considering taking two math classes next semster-Math 3319 (Differential Equations & Linear Algebra) and Calculus III. Has anyone done this before. Also, do you guys think it’s manageable to take them alongside Physics 1444 and Statics or am I setting up myself for failure?

Today was my first time ever actually giving attention to the likes of the man who came onto campus today, in front of the library. Usually I ignore it, but my heart told me that I have to speak up and defend my religion as best as I could. But , he got what he wanted. He made me emotional, he made me break, and he made me walk away.

If I could go back, and prevent myself from joining in that moment I definitely would. But I can't , so the best thing I can do is learn and tell myself that this is and was the first and last time I'll ever engage in something like that.

I'm not ashamed to stand up for my beliefs, I was ashamed that I probably made a fool of myself. But everything happens for a reason. I got weak, I cried in a stall on the phone to my friend about the entire thing.

But what really stuck with me is the girl next to me who is a firm Christian believer, she got upset, and she said to never let anyone make me feel as inferior or hurt as I did today once it comes to my faith and beliefs. She said that she senses my heart and pure and I care. And that just made me cry more. I really appreciate her.

So moral of the story, I need to just ignore those type of people. Because there's always going to be hate in the world. And I'm just beginning at uta. I can't start off with this nonsense.
