Question? Do people dress up if Haloween isnt on a weekday?
Wasnt here last year. I was curious if people still wear costumes even though Haloween is the following day?

In my 20 odd years of being around campus I have never seen such ludicrous traffic. Yes, construction in every direction. But these 4 way stops cause back ups so bad that the person whose turn it is can't go.. which confuses the other 3... then you have pedestrians in there... all of which messes up the order. And yes... pedestrians should have the right of way... And yes.. people coming from the sides had to wait a bit in busy times for the two old way stops but I never had waits like this mess causes.
Who can we comment to about putting them back as they were? Maybe when Wiggins actually opens? 😅😅
Also, is Wiggins gonna be blocked all winter yet...cus yeesh. 🫠
(And don't tell me to bus please, I think people should if they can...but the bus doesn't even go near my workplace, ... or my house to be honest. Closest stop is 8 blocks away. Juggling work and school and life.. spending 2+ hours on transit to/from home and then driving to work isn't logical)

Yall just a heads up there’s a creep or someone’s crazy boyfriend lurking around doing laps by peoples open windows on the ground floor at Grad House, facing Williams building, he’s standing in dark places, standing in the bushes, keeps sitting at the picnic tables and then gets up and does more laps by the windows, super Sus behaviour and I have called protective services.
Just be aware of this guy and your blinds being open at night, never know who’s creeping around

I’m in ATH and my toes are icyyyy. Wanna know if the heating just isn’t fully up and running yet, or if it’s a room specific issue and I should request maintenance

Just a heads up/notice for anyone near pac, there are two off leash dogs running around together. Unsure if they got out, or if they’re supposed to be out, but if anyone is missing a pet I thought I should let people know.
Edit: larger dogs, both tanish color
If you see them, please call protective services as they are aware and looking for them

If anyone has taken History of Japan from 1600 - Yesterday with George Keyworth let me know what the course is like. I already have a heavy semester and I’m wondering If I can add that class. I was also wondering if it is mandatory to show up to each class or if any assignments are online.

The main crosswalk is closed, and there is an "alternative route" a few meters up the road with traffic and pedestrian lights. However, cars are not stopping for the light; one car actively sped up as pedestrians were crossing. Atp the city wants us to get hit by a car, and the only other option is the overpass, which also sucks and is far away. When will this construction end😿

Got first-year bio TAs talking shit about students who are some of the last to leave, then other mfs mocking their cohorts for mumbling in a lecture vid calling them slow. Not even tryna hide it either

I am honestly struggling really bad with this class. However, i want to do good! Is there any one who is currently excelling or has excelled in this class before who could help teach me?
If not, other than office hours, what other resources can i go to for comm201 financial accounting?
Thank you

Hi everyone! :)
I’m planning to apply to USask (MSc) for Fall 2027, and was wondering if anyone has experience with the admissions process regarding decision timelines.
The program I’m interested in has a December deadline, & from what I’ve seen on this sub, some applicants have received admission decisions as late as May. I’m curious if applying earlier could mean hearing back earlier / if applications are reviewed around the same time regardless of when you apply.
I’d really appreciate any experiences especially if you applied well before the deadline!
Thank you in advance!!

Hello, I’m considering applying for the Dental Hygiene Program for Fall 2027 and wondering if anyone who’s currently in the program or has graduated from Usask has any experiences or something they really enjoyed learning at the program.
What was the most challenging part of the program?
Did you enjoy the hands-on clinical training more, or the academic side?
Was there anything you learned that made you realise this was the right career for you?
If you could go back to your first year, is there anything you wish you'd known beforehand?
Thank you!

I have to take an online exam this week and I don’t have my own computer which computer station in the university is the best to use bonus points if it’s kind of quiet and secluded

The lecture audio in the recording went away at the end so I couldn’t hear anything. Anyone present in class that would be willing to share their notes for the end of this class? It’s the mechanisms of toxicity 5 lecture, first 7 slides of that powerpoint. Please and thanks!

Hey guys I’m moving into Seager Wheeler in January 2027, and I’ve been assigned a room on the ground floor.
For anyone who’s lived in Seager Wheeler, are certain room numbers or floors better than others? 👀
I’m wondering whether the ground floor is a good place to live, or if the higher floors are better in terms of privacy, noise, cleanliness, bugs, and the overall living experience.
Also, does anyone know if specific bedrooms have advantages or disadvantages depending on their location in the building?
I’d love to hear from people who’ve actually lived there, especially anyone who lived on the ground floor recently. Thank you!!!!!

Hi, I used to always park in Lawson Heights parking and catch the number 17 bus to the university. This worked for me until the route started closing. Now I park in front of Best Buy in Centre Mall parking lot and catch the number 50 or 55 bus. Problem is I heard that they ticket there a lot? I didn’t have any problem with Lawson Heights but I’m worried that I’ll get a ticket in Centre Mall. I will have a night class next semester so I would need to find a spot where I can park and catch a bus to the university without a ticket.
Does anyone know a spot where I can park and catch the bus without a problem? Thanks a lot.

I don’t think so but I thought I could ask. Is there anywhere on campus that I can have access to a microscope without being in a lab during class? I was gifted some specimen slides but don’t have a microscope lol

I guess preston is more f*ed now. Just went by and near Canadian tire it's down to one lane in both directions along that overpass.
So don't take that way to uni rn cause it's very bad.

Hey all. Just trying to get ready for the quiz on Wednesday and am struggling to find flash cards. I know it was mentioned that Anki and Quizlet are sites people have been using, but when I looked I can't seem to find any. If anyone can help me out it'd be much appreciated. Thanks!

Y’all ngl I’m too embarrassed to be asking this bc I’m like halfway through my undergrad, but how do you do those fancy email signing things. I’m getting too tired typing them down each time I send an email 😭
Also what necessary information to I add to it. I know major, year, university and the email to contact me back (likely the email I’m using to send it in the first place 💀) but let’s say you’re a club exec or rep or some set position in a club. Do you mention that or only if you’re an exec? Or maybe not at all?
I may or may not be overthinking it 🥰 anything helps.

Theres a janitor in one of the lesser-known buildings that wanders the halls with their music blasting or talking on speaker phone. Every. Single. Day. For the past several YEARS. I usually don’t have an issue with background noise but this is blaring even with my doors shut.
