Greatly better performance than the prev one as it now uses pngs with shaders for the background instead of a looping video.

I saw vxwm and hevel posted here a while back and loved the infinite canvas concept. But i couldn't find anything trackpad-first with the kind of visual polish I wanted (widgets, infinite background, mac-os like expose, window snapping and edge panning, blur, window decorations with shadows etc), so I built my own.

I'm not a professional developer, so I used AI to build this thing as a pet project in about a month. The design, UX, and everything in the rice are mine. I've been daily-driving this as my only compositor for a while now. Use at your own risk!

My new way of window management. It is, errr.. fishy.

Patched the Imgborders plugin to randomize the border based on the window's address, as well as display an image on each side of the border. Which correspond to the head, tail, etc.
As for the movement, used a noise function to float the windows seamlessly via hyprctl with a bash script. It also assigns a tag to indicate which direction the fish I mean the windows is heading towards, which the patch reads and mirrors the sprites accordingly.

My design & ideas here to build program that use with others that's already great, like Wofi, terminal base app, etc.. you can try but some might work some not..

Currently: Tested/Work on my Sway/wayland on others wayland WMs like hyprland also add some code in but not test yet, But on x11 can't figure out, how to run mpv with transparency just yet

A Hyprland + Quickshell rice inspired by Nothing OS

Everything you see is one bar I wrote in Quickshell. Instead of a stack of widgets it's a single pill that morphs into whatever I need: media, a calendar, the wallpaper picker, clipboard history, an audio and brightness mixer, wifi and bluetooth. The launcher, lock screen and a small screenshot tool are all Quickshell too, nothing copied.

The colors come off the wallpaper through wallust, but the shell itself stays on a warm vermilion theme I tuned by hand. Got too attached to it to let it shift around.
