Best trail running coach app?

Found many older reviews about the trail running apps with coach as option, ideally including running and strength workouts, but wanted to know what is the situation and recommendations now?

Based on search I found the most popular ones: athletica, tracer, vert run rated as some good ones?

New watch choice: Garmin Enduro 2 or Coros apex 4 ?

Deciding between these two. I’ve never used coros before and heard good things about both, especially the enduro 2 but it is a bit outdated , but not by much.

Do you care about everything around the race?

For me I feel like the best parts of running are the training, the nerves before, the dinner with friends, the beers after.

Is that important for you guys or nah?

Tips to eat more outside of running?

I have no issues eating during a run. I take about 60-85 gr of carbs an hour, more if it’s a colder weather run. However, as soon as I’m done, I generally don’t have any appetite. I usually have one big meal in a day and try to have some protein shakes and force myself to eat some snacks. I don’t have any eating disorder, I just never look forward to having to sit down and finish a plate. I grew up eating small portions because my grandma I lived with ate small portions, so I just ended up doing that, but obv with all the running, I have to eat way more than I have been.

Any tips to make eating more enjoyable and less torturous? Whilst I don’t hate liquid calories, I wonder if there’s more I could try. Having to eat enough is genuinely the worst part of training lol Thanks!

Foot pain in 100k

I recently ran my first 100k and was curious if anyone else has experience almost debilitating foot pain? My legs felt strong but was massively slowed down by how sore my feet got over time. Is this just the normal pains of running 100k?
