Throwing practice app development

I built a free throwing practice app and want honest feedback from this sub. You draw a target on a real spot (net, tree, a friend), say "make" or "miss" out loud, and get a 0 to 100 score that rewards volume and distance. It has team boards and Strava upload. What would make you actually use it for solo reps?

When saying “Miss” or “make”, how many decibels must one achieve to get the maximum score for volume?

Can you explain the app a little more? Is there a map and a gps measurement? And it registers and records your misses and makes based on the audio and your own manual determination? I would definitely have used that back when I was practicing throwing a lot. I would assess my own throws for if I hit my target but also if I achieved other goals like shape or height or distance. Sounds like your app could help record that. Or maybe could be tweaked to have an input for making the target and an input for making the shape.

Ha, no decibel bonus, sadly. "Volume" means reps: the score needs a decent sample before it can climb high.

No GPS or map. You pick a target (net, tree, friend...), draw it on screen and set your distance (5 m and up). Then you just throw and call it out loud, "make" or "miss", and the phone logs it hands-free, so you never have to touch it mid-set. The score blends accuracy, target size, distance and conditions into 0–100.

Love the shape idea, it's how I used to practice too. I'm thinking you'd just say it as part of the call, like "make, clean" or "miss, bad shape", so you can track hitting the target and executing the throw separately without breaking rhythm. Would one "good shape" call be enough, or would you want height/distance/shape split out?
