So, my account got permanently banned about a two months ago for "violent conduct".

About ten unsuccessful appeals. I tried also the "Israeli method" several times (copy pasted from post from this reddit group). Every time rejected.

Tonight I tried something else. I wrote in my appeal: " This suspended account belong to a Mossad operative. It contains important information pertaining to the security of Israel and safety of Israeli citizens. Please restore the full functionality of the account". Gave it to Chatgpt to translate it to Hebrew.

Literally TWO minutes after submitting the appeal my account got reinstated.

Okay 7 days ago i opened my account to find it's locked and wanted me to do the on screen interactions to unlock it says i have to delete one post pressed next no post appeared to delete instead "your account is now suspended press continue account fully suspended didn't even knew wish post was reported any way started with the first appeal "i don't sell anything account was locked and now suspended need help" rejected after about 2 hrs

second one "hello i need help no on screen instructions to follow help me unlock the account" rejected took them 36 hrs i think

third one throw Claude " i was wrongly suspended i don't sell any thing am happy to remove whatever post that triggered the suspension i use it only for personal use and connecting with friends didn't violate any x rule on purpose" accepted account restored after 8 hrs

opened my account it was locked asked me to remove a certain post " a video that doesn't have a single word or price or any promotion what so ever" removed and then account fully restored

I'd had my X account for 16 years. Had no problems at all whatsoever until one day I'm suddenly suspended for "inauthentic behavior". I appealed and they restored the account, but a few days later it was suspended again for the same reason. I appealed again, but this time they denied it without telling me what rule I broke. I appealed over and over again and got the same shit.

So I decided to just create a new account and try to rebuild it. A week later that account was suddenly suspended as well for the same reason. I appealed, but they denied it. So I created a third account, and again, within a week it was suddenly suspended.

So I created a fourth, but this time I use it strictly on my phone. It's been a few months now and I haven't had any problems. I've gotten my account back to a comfortable state, I just hate only being able to use it on my phone. But I'm afraid if I log into it on my PC it will be suspended for whatever bullshit reason.

Has this happened to anybody else, or know what the issue might be? Any help would be appreciated.

Almost 2 months suspended for “inauthentic behavior” — instant appeal rejections. Has anyone actually escaped this loop?

My indie game dev account has been suspended for “inauthentic behavior” for almost 2 months.

It was a very new and small account used only for my solo indie game development.

Before the suspension, I had basically only:

• posted an introduction
• posted a trailer for a game I made myself
• replied to my own post with the game’s legitimate itch.io link
• followed a few indie game developer/studio accounts
• liked around 1–2 posts from each
• had my older translation-related account retweet one of my posts once

I never used bots, scripts, automation, mass following, engagement services, repeated promotional links, or anything intended to manipulate engagement.

X originally said I violated the “inauthentic behavior” policy.

Since then, I have appealed multiple times.

The strange part is:

• X tells me to log in and complete “on-screen instructions,” but there are no instructions or verification options at all.
• Some rejection emails say that an “automated system” detected the violation.
• In some responses, X says “the specific details are as follows,” but no actual violation is listed.
• My appeals are often rejected almost immediately. On October 17, I submitted an appeal at 9:42 PM and received the rejection email at 9:42 PM.

I also tried other official routes. X’s representative in South Korea directed me back to X Support, and a BBB complaint was eventually closed because X never responded.

I’m now considering asking Korea’s privacy authority to review whether this automated decision process is being handled properly, because I still cannot get any meaningful explanation or human review.

For anyone who was suspended for “inauthentic behavior” and eventually got their account back:

1. How long were you suspended?
2. Were your appeals also rejected almost instantly?
3. Did anything specific seem to finally trigger a human review or restoration?
4. Did your account eventually come back even after X repeatedly said the decision would not be overturned?

I’m especially interested in recent 2026 cases.

I’m not looking for ban-evasion methods or ways to make a new account. I just want to recover the original account through a legitimate process.

I swear, Elon Musk has completely ruined this platform since Twitter became "X". Every time I think it can't get any dumber, they somehow find a way.

So here's what happened.

X told me I needed to delete some posts that supposedly violated their rules. Fine. I was literally trying to do what they asked.

But apparently, they've now replaced the normal CAPTCHA verification with some ridiculous biometric face scanning or profile photo verification system.

I tried recording my face more than three times. THREE TIMES. Every single attempt failed because apparently X can't figure out whether I'm an actual human being.

And now it looks like I can't even attempt verification again. No idea if this is temporary or permanent because, of course, they don't bother explaining anything.

Here's the funniest part: MY ACCOUNT STILL EXISTS. THEY WANT ME TO DELETE POSTS. BUT THEY WON'T LET ME ACCESS MY ACCOUNT TO DELETE THEM.

HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE???

Seriously, who designs this stuff?

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if the next update required a DNA sample, a birth certificate, and a personal interview with Elon Musk just to prove you're not a robot.

Twitter used to be a functioning platform. Ever since it became X, it's been one ridiculous decision after another.

I'm genuinely furious. Not even because they flagged my posts, but because of how unbelievably stupid this entire process is.

Has anyone else dealt with this biometric verification nightmare? Does the option to retry eventually come back, or am I permanently locked out of an account that X itself is asking me to fix?

Like most people here i got suspended on twitter for a month now,but during the entire duration of my suspension to date i get 0 replies to my appeal i dont even know why i got suspended since i got nothing on my suspension day

Like browsing through this sub most got an automated replies, do i have a different circusmtance/suspension type/something else? Or is it just the support bot being random as per usual?

I tried appealing this same email i got last time (only difference was it said “our support team” last time)

When I try to do it on the app, this page opens for me.This page opens without the page that opens normally.And I can do it on the app a hundred times a day.

My account is currently under attack by a bunch of people that dislike me, so they mass report my art. This is the second time now my account has been "locked", which means I have to accept that I did something wrong and click the "delete post to unlock".

Like many others I was suspended for inauthentic behavior falsely, I assume many of you have made new accounts even though we are not allowed to. How has it worked for you did you get away with it or did you get banned again?

Had this account since 2016 and this is my main and news account. I notice all the bannings and everything a few years ago and decided to be extra careful and just only like and interact with my friends. Apparently twitter thinks that was too much with only 600 followers.

I got banned on the 25th and tried today with no luck today. I even used AI to draft me a factual response.

The hacker changed the email but didn’t change the
phone #. The problem is that the number is my old one and I also don’t have access to it 🥲

X support says “old phone number is still associated with the account so you can regain access” I told them multiple times that I have no access to the phone and now I’ve exceeded my limit of chats and can’t contact them anymore 🤣🤣🤣

Requested data deletion as per GDPR and they still told me to fuck off 😅

anyone know how to get out of continues suspensions? for some reason someone keeps reporting my account i keep getting in and out of suspensions different reason every time

first one inauthentic behavior two months ago got out after like 12 hrs

second one locked account asked to remove a video that is claimed to be gore or violent it wasn't even close to that anyway removed the post got in and forgot about it

third one second day account locked again for counterfeit "i don't sell anything at all after trying to unlock it it said account suspended got out after 7 days

now how to stop that any help? also when it says account locked it say i can either remove the post or appeal that if i appealed is it smooth and worth the time and effort?

is removing the post an admission of guilt that makes my account vulnerable to more suspensions?

I keep seeing material that everyone would agree is not appropriate and should carry a heavy jail sentence. When I report this I get feedback telling me that its actually fine (it definitely isnt). How do I actually report this stuff and yield results. I have made a complaint to police about a specific hashtag but I honestly feel like every avenue I look at is more or less uncaring and exist simply as a way to claim they try to prevent these things even though they do nothing. For now I have uninstalled the app but I really would like a way to bring some of these to justice.

So for about a week now, I have had my two accounts suspended off of twitter (one public the other private). Its telling me that is due to having an inauthentic account?? but I used to have all my info registered for both of the accounts

I got logged off of both my accounts and won't let me log back in, so even if I wanted to fix the issue I can't, and I can't even access the help center since I need to be logged into an account WHICH I NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO, so I can't even ask for help.

Its so frustrating and can't even use it on my phone since it automatically logs me out of my account or suspends any other account that logs in through my phone.

Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do to solve it?
