has spotify been extremely slow and bugged for anyone else? or is this just a me problem?

It's so annoying when I am listening to songs, and want to like songs and add them to a playlist that the order of playlists shown is seemingly random. Why not just show the most recent added playlists?

Often I am listening to a radio, or general playlist and want to add these songs to my rock playlist. But every time that I click add to playlist my most recent playlist doesn't show up at the top, and I have to manually search for it. It's so, so frustrating and such a simple, dumb oversight that it doesn't just show the playlist you recently added to on top.

There’s been multiple updates since this issue was raised, and yet the problem still remains.

Something weird I noticed the other day is that the artwork obviously doesn’t show when viewing your playlists or when you play the song, however it is there in the edit page when you go to edit a playlist, meaning the metadata for the album artwork is definitely still within the Spotify app on your phone.

Why would anyone want to see this on Spotify. Creepy ass shit

Anyone else notice gapless playback for local files just broke one day? Like a little before last week local file transitions and gapless playback when looping a local file worked perfectly on the ios app, and then they just broke. All the files are encoded 320kbps mp3s and I never turned off gapless playback or automix. I’m afraid this issue will take months or will never be fixed by spotify now ☹️
I have been updating the app as soon as I see a new update in app store, but it’s not fixed yet. I also tried making a post about this on the spotify community forum, but it got deleted for some reason.
Local file transitions still work perfectly on PC, but I really just don’t know what to do. If you guys know an ios audio player app that supports gapless playback, please let me know!

When I use Spotify Free through Apple CarPlay, my playlists no longer seem to play in shuffle mode. Instead, every time I get in the car, Spotify starts the playlist from the same first song again and so on

Like legit thts the only reason i use thing app now nd im just curious why make even this a premium only now?

A lot of artists I like have album not available in my country due to rights issues and such? I was wondering how do I download them and add the album myself

I tried it before but they were stuck in local files and I couldn’t really make it work well so I was wondering any more efficient way to do it? I’d like for it to look like proper albums and to even add to playlists if possible? I’d also like for it to have a picture like normal spotify tracks do

I know they are private but yeah it looks and feels awful and I’d like to optimize it to the best of my ability.

Every time I open the app, or even unlock my phone to change a song, this stupid "Welcome to Running Mode! Get started now!" Pop up shows up.

Does anyone know if there's a way to disable this? Or am I just going to have to deal with this weird pop up not-quite-ad every time I open the app?

Sometimes, I’ll open my liked songs to find a bunch of them are undownloaded for no reason.

However, what’s really strange is that some songs on my playlist that are visible during these glitches vanish from the playlist the rest of the time? What’s going on?

hey guys! so every time i try listening to a song on my phone, it plays the song for like one second, glitches and then skips to another song. I’ve tried pretty much everything i could think of — turning off my vpn, logging out and back in, reinstalling the app, clearing my cache, NOTHING has worked. does anyone know what the problem might be? i just wanna listen to my music but i can’t if my spotify keeps acting up like this. thanks!

A few days ago I noticed I can’t seek and the previous button is grayed out as you can tell by the picture, why is Spotify taking away features from Local Files or is it just broken?

I have shuffle turned off and listen to my songs in order. Whenever it connects to my car on Bluetooth, it randomizes my music and more often than not, it plays this song and then the subsequently listed songs.

i've been using spotifast for a while now (about 3 months) and i care quite a bit about my spotify wrapped stats @ the end of the year (idk its just cool to look at)

ive come to realise that spotifast hasnt been saving my listening stats to spotify? (when listening using the spotifast client). it wont show my listening stats and says i have listened to near nothing on stats.fm or the official spotify app, however they still show up as normal on last.fm? should i be worried? and if so, are there any fixes that anyone would know?

maybe if the dev of spotifast could reach out to me or sumn idk, would be appreciated

It keeps giving me a notification that it's downloading my playlist and never finishes but I can still listen to it

I had a song I really liked called Stuck in a Lag by Glass Paranoia. Its still in my Playlist as such but when I hit it it opens to some horrible AI sounding version and it changes the artist to Fenwick? Now the song doesn't exist except in my liked songs but again- click it and it changes to a different artist. What is going on?

This feature doesn’t even work. Just drove an hour to work and not a single new song played while on smart shuffle. And yes, I checked to make sure it was on smart shuffle
