Human torso Eucalyptus branch
galleryThis was taken in 2004-5 in my neighborhood in Tucson, Az. I wish I would've captured better angles, but it was just an interesting branch to me.
During the following Halloween, I would lead kids and their parents to the "Tree that ate naughty children.." and show them Fred (He was popular then) he never listened to his parents and he was absorbed by the tree after carving his name into it and trying to light it on fire...Absolute terror on the kids' faces as I used my flashlight to show Fred's torso in the tree...almost every parent gasped when Fred was first illuminated, I don't think they were expecting to see a very human like torso embedded, they were expecting a sheet or some simple gag...it took on a real meaning at that point for a lot of the kids and they immediately bolted, screaming bloody murder down the street. Great fun for me and my neighbors for about 3 years until I moved away..
