This will be my first time trying to make cannabutter and my idea is to try to Decarb 7g of bud on a propane grill and use a oven thermometer right next to it to try and stay around 250f. After making that I will use the burner on the grill to infuse it. I don’t know if this will work and this is my best idea s far since I can’t make it inside. If y’all have any tips or other methods I would appreciate them.

I’ve got 16g of trim I want to make into edibles but I’d like em to be a little stronger, so I was thinking of adding some live resin badder to it but I’m less familiar with making edibles with concentrates, would just throwing the described wax in with the trim while the butter infuses work?

I caught a huge sale on 3Chi's 9o dab wax droppers, I only do edibles so I want to try making capsules out of them. It's my first time trying this, and sice I bought like 10 of them (😅), I'm hoping I can save a bit of work by not mixing them with oil after decarbing?

I always eat fatty food with my edibles so I shouldn't need it in the capsule as well, right? Or is it important for some other reason? I don't know what their consistency is like so maybe they'd be too solid to put into caps without it? Or would it make it easier to accurately dose each capsule?

Hello, I have a little over 40 grams that I have decarbed and looking at making some tinctures. Everclear is very hard to find in my state, I was wondering if I can make a high potency tincture with vodka instead? Thank you!

I've made golden dragon several times without trouble.

This year, I finally tried to grow my own cannabis. It wasn't growing as quickly as expected, so the plan was to bring them indoors to finish growing. This past week, the temperature plummeted and killed the plants.

Is there anything I can do with them? They certainly smell like pot, but I don't know if that means anything.

I’m new to edibles as I’ve just quit smoking and have seen conflicting info around when to eat when having edibles.

If I was to have an edible around 6.30pm, and dinner around 7.30pm, would this ruin the high or improve it?

I’ve read that leaving it an hour before eating would make the onset much slower, whereas eating 15-30 mins after edible would make the onset smoother. I don’t understand this as leaving an hour between would surely mean more edible can be digested before stomach is full again? Some explanation around this would be great

I am thinking of using aint sandys 10x cannabutter recipe. Do I need to decarb the trim in an oven before doing this recipe? Or just follow it step for step? I have roughly 4oz of sugar leaves and small buds to use.

Cracked the camera so hopefully pics are decent enough. Made family meal for the after shift. Coated Foccaia buns in infused granddaddy red pop infused butter, coated the pork belly in a rso wojo redux, and finished with a hot honey prodigy rso infusion. Roughly 250mg probably more but all deliciousness.

I used olive oil as my carrier, its jet black but the taste is almost the exact same as normal olive oil so i have conflicting results w the internet. Please let it be usable.

I want to move away from that however, in part because I want something with a longer shelf life, but I have vegan friends as well. Of course i was hoping to come here for recipes, advice, tips and tricks. If you have any, please share!

But I also want to play with terpenes and other additives. While in a place with legal weed, I was able to find several edibles that I really thought they'd hit a mark in terms of effects. CBG and taurine was particularly a favourite of mine, as it produced a fun, but clear headed high that I sorely miss. I've been looking into and I want to add CBD and l-theanine as well, for an uplifting high. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with adding these, if they could advise me on the form factor these come in, which stage they are best added at, or anything else that you might think of? I'm open to articles, papers, recipes and blog posts and just good old conversation.

Hi r/treedibles, I've got some THCA isolate that I've decarbed and mixed with coconut oil and soy lecithin that don't seem to be working as expected and was hoping to get your feedback.

Repro steps:

1. Preheat oven to 240F
2. On parchment paper, weigh out 130mg (0.13g) of THCA isolate with the expectation that'll net at least 100mg of THC
3. Place in oven and decarb for 40 minutes (the bubbles stop around this point)
4. While decarbing, warm 5g of up coconut oil and and dissolve 0.05g (1% of lipid mass) of soy lecithin
5. Once decarbing is done, mix the amber concentrate in the coconut oil and lecithin solution until it dissolves.

Ingesting the mixture yields no perceivable psychoactive effect.
However, I do wake up really groggy the next day, which made me think I over-decarbed and got CBN. Unfortunately, temping the oven with a laser and oven thermometer shows that the decarbed concentrate and the 1/8 pan supporting the parchment paper are between 200F and 240F, which might rule out CBN.

My control is the Not Your Father's sodas at 100mg, and ingesting the control after 6 hours of ingesting the DIY mixture is followed by a perceived psychoactive effect that meet expectations.

Made it for my first attempt. used about 1-2g of weed with 25g of butter (i don’t want a lot in case i do it wrong)
grinded the flower loosely, decarboxylated the flower in the oven in my mason jar for around 20-30 mins at 120C. then moved it, placed the butter inside and let it sit in simmering boiled water for around 30 minutes.
after straining, i used a little left over butter to make taco meat but didn’t really get any high.
now the next morning, i want to use it on toast but it doesn’t look as green as i expected and it also has like a milky/cream consistency at the bottom under the solidified butter.
it smells like weed but other than that, im not sure what i did wrong here. would it still get me high or am i chasing waterfalls?

I want to create as many 10mg or slightly stronger THC gummies as I can. I have seen so many recipes with different amounts that I do not know what to do. I grow my own plants, so I do not know the potency; I always estimate 15%, though it is probably higher. I used 1 ounce of Humboldt Uppercut, a hybrid leaning toward indica by probably 60% or more, bred by Humboldt CSI. I ground 28 grams of weed, crumpled some parchment paper, set it on a baking tray, and put it in the oven at 230°F for about 45 minutes. I combined 1.3 cups, or about 150ml, of unrefined coconut oil in a mason jar and mixed in one teaspoon of sunflower lecithin, then placed it in a crockpot at about 180–200°F for 4 hours, swirling every 30 minutes or so. I believe I have done everything right so far. I have small 2ml silicone rectangle molds i got from amazon and want a recipe to make as many 10mg or stronger gummies as possible. I have Jello, gelatin powder, and lecithin powder. Is it possible to make 250 gummies, each at least 10mg or higher? What is a good ratio of ingredients? I plan on using only half the coconut oil.
