Visa Visiting China Three Times in One Year on Tourist Visa?

I love traveling in China and have already been twice this year. I'd like to visit again at the end of November, but am worried about immigration blocking me for spending so much time there on a tourist visa.

Nationality: USA

Visa: 10 year tourist visa (60 day limit per visit)

Visit 1: Feb 25 - April 24 (58 days)

Visit 2: Aug 21 - Sept 28 (38 days)

Potential Visit 3: Nov 25 - Dec 10 (15 days)

Anyone done something similar?

Thanks!

Discussion Last second China travel for first timers ?!

My best friend and I decided on a whim to travel to China next week for roughly 2,5 weeks... Landing in Shanghai... doing my research and all but wanted recommandations from experienced people for travel logistics especially in this time of month...

Trying to avoid the cold areas... but wanted to know any recommandations for cities to see as a tourist for a 2,5 week travel...

I know China is huge and I won't be able to see even 1% of the amazing things the country has to offer so definitely going to have to go back...

But for 2,5 weeks travel ? What and where do you recommend ?

Other Lost & found Shanghai (pudong) airport

A couple of days ago I lost my bag at Shanghai airport. My bag is allready found and is at the lost & found departement. But I don’t know how to ship it back to the Netherlands.

I saw a few sites that could help as a pick up agent, but it seemed quite sketchy…

Does someone maybe have some tips? That would be really helpful.

Itinerary Crowds in Chengdu on 31 December-3 January

Hi everyone! I have a trip planned for Chengdu from 31 December 2026 (Thursday) to 3 January 2027 (Sunday) how are the crowds in that city during this long weekend? I’m okay with crowds, just hopefully not the extent where everyone is packed like sardines all day.

Thinking about whether I should cancel this trip given the crowds.

Thank you!

Other My 27-day trip to China

Hello dear community,

this is my plan for my 27-day trip to China.

Many wonder why Xi’an; I would like to spend Christmas in a festive mood. I love food, exploring, nature, and the cyberpunk feeling.

1 Beijing | 3.5 days / 3 nights |

2 Luoyang | 2.5 days / 2 nights |

3 Xi’an | 7 days / 6 nights |

4 Chengdu | 6 days / 5 nights |

5 Chongqing | 4 days / 3 nights |

6 Zhangjiajie | 3 days / 2 nights |

7 Shanghai | 4.5 days / 4 nights |

Do u guys have been before in China ?

What do you think about this travel concept?

Itinerary PVG transit hotel - is 6hr 15mins enough?

Hi

Considering a trip to UK (from SYD) early next year with a stopover in Shanghai on the way back.

Regarding the flight(s) over, there is a 6hr 15min layover at PVG. Is this enough time to clear immigration, head to the Holiday Inn and grab a shower and a few hours sleep before coming back airside?

The return flights aren't an issue as we plan to stay for 4-5 nights in the city proper, but going over will be a transit stop only. Wondering if the timeframe is too tight to grab a few hours sleep in a hotel. I understand there is an Aerotel at PVG but it is not airside.

Discussion Are there caves in China that allow multi-day exploration?

Hi everyone, looking for recommendations for multi-day caving trips in China. I’ve come across multi-day caving trips, but they usually visit a different cave each day. I’m looking for something where you spend several days exploring the same cave system, ideally with overnight stays underground.

China borders Vietnam, which is home to some incredible caves like Son Doong, so I'm wondering if China has similar large cave systems that are open to this kind of exploration.

Are there any local caving groups or guides who organize these kinds of trips? Open to anywhere in China. Would also be great to hear about caves that are less well known but can still be explored legally with the right team.

Itinerary Guiyang advice.

Hi, so I am in Guiyang for 3 days. Is Huangguoshu worth it? Should I book a tour from trip or is it easy for me to navigate there myself?

Also is the Xijiang Miao village worth it? I am considering leaving for it midday and staying the night and coming back the next morning.

Are there any other attractions you would recommend?

Discussion Waiting months for a specialist at home. Is going abroad for it crazy?

Seeing more and more people talk about this. Canada, UK, places with long waits. Some people just fly to China and see a specialist the same week
