Discussion / Opinion Do Transformers think humans are cute?
This is an important question (for interplanetary diplomatic relations or something, idk).

I help lead transformerstcg.org, the fan project continuing the Transformers Trading Card Game, and I wanted to share something from our upcoming War|Void release.
Like many fans, I grew up associating Peter Cullen with Optimus Prime. Ironhide was another childhood favorite of mine, and it wasn’t until years later that I learned Peter had given both characters their unforgettable G1 voices.
After Peter’s passing, we chose Ironhide’s Armory as his memorial card in War|Void. The card celebrates that connection between Ironhide and Optimus, with original artwork by Sid VenBlu bringing the two characters together.
This one is particularly personal for me. I was lucky enough to meet Peter years ago, and I wrote more about that experience, growing up with his performances, and why we chose Ironhide for the tribute here:
https://transformerstcg.org/articles/cotw-ironhides-armory-from-org-wave-9-war-void
Thank you, Peter, for both of these old friends.
Till all are one.

I love g1 constructicon don't get me wrong, them being the few uniformed subfaction and the fact that there's alott of them (like on the flashbacks) but i think it would be nice if they have some body variations, so i wanna shout out big boy Long Haul that we get from time to time instead of the more "standard" constructicon proportion. Also i wanna say i think ss86 have the best proportion for long haul, like a nice in between maybe for people who don't really like the big long haul designs

My personal pick for the best Transformers series
Practically took the best pieces of lore from each of the previous shows and put their own twist on them.
Introduced Lockdown
Sari Sumdac (Wish she was used in more)
Bulkhead and Lugnut
Triple Changers being psychotic
Other decepticon groups beyond Megatron's personal possy
Interaction between techno organic transformers and the standard transformers
and plenty more

I heard a lot of complaints that SS86 Soundwave can't hold Laserbeak especially on Youtube reveiws but I found out he can. Laserbeak is very loose and will fall off but just displaying them like this he won't fall off. Anyone else knew this?

Back when this discussion came up, I was actually hoping Megatron wasn’t a retool, but everyone kept insisting that he was. Why? Why was everyone saying this? Was it simply because of the fact that Megatronus had similar parts to Megatron? Or was it because everyone was just saying Hasbro was “lazy” even though Megatron is one of their most recognizable characters?

CHUG is a term we use to refer to figures that released in the Classics, Henkei Henkei, Universe, and Generations toylines.
These lines are coupled together because they all share similar aesthetics and design philosophies - you can collect figures from all these toylines and feel like they fit with one another.
However, with the introduction of the Studio Series in 2018 (still underneath the Generations label), I feel like the intention behind the toy designs was moved away from “new G1” and incorporating cues from different continuities (IDW), and was instead focused on source-accuracy.
Now that’s obvious for SS, that’s the whole point, but we see that in WFC, Legacy, and now Age of the Primes as well.
The hyper G1 accurate/“G1-ified” figures from these modern Generations toylines don’t really fit in with older Generations figures in my opinion.
Since the whole idea of the CHUG label is that they all fit in with each other, maybe we should call post 2018 toys “New Generations” or something?
What do you think?

In the year 2005, and the Autobots on Earth had constructed a massive, sprawling city for their operations against the Decepticons. This version of the city features the massive Titan Fortress Maximus at its core, with the Omega Sentinel Omega Supreme forming the eastern launch station, south eastern rocket zone, and the various roads connecting the city together. The Autobot ship "The Ark" sits docked in the eastern launch station, ready to take off for Cybertron.
This setup was a ton of fun to not only build, but to populate with all kinds of Mini-Cons, Battle/Titan Masters, and all manner of little bots. The sheer number of little cavities, ramps, platforms, and spaces to put small figures is vast, and I especially love the little highway I made from Omega's tracks.

Optimus Prime is the supreme leader of the Autobots, leading his warriors in the fight against Megatron and his Decepticons.
As the Great War ravaged Cybertron, Optimus realized that the ongoing conflict could lead to the destruction of his homeworld. Upon learning of the Decepticons' plans to travel to Earth in search of Energon, he assembled an expeditionary force and set out in pursuit of Megatron's forces.
Now, Optimus must protect a new world from the war that has already destroyed his own.
Who should be made next?

I don't think Lazerbeak has missed a shot in this show.
He has a higher knockout rate than Megatron at this point.
I didn't know he would be such a nightmare. Then again it is coming out of Soundwave so not a surprise this guy is a menace .

With things like the reactivate trailer triggering people (for good reason), and all these AI based recomiles going on, is there any chance anyone accessed the betas of transformers universe and we could, Idk mod it or something? I know WFC and FOC exist and I thank goodness those are an option. But honestly I've been thinking of how we can revive some abandoned or promising tf games. Or even do some wacky stuff like revive ROTF but now with the DLC characters on PC (and modding the drones to play in multiplayer). Heck at this point I'd even be willing to revive the Chinese overwatch clone (with some major changes though). Point is, there's a lotta good TF stuff out there. And if anyone wants to try and revive any of those games, I'm down to help.
