Meet Samantha
Meet our Samantha. She's 10 years old, a little overweight and missing some teeth. We just adopted her on Saturday and she's settling in well to her new home.

Hi Tortico lovers,
There has been a recent uptick in posts linking to or directly asking for funds from other users. These are frequently scam or bot accounts trying to make you think you are donating to a good cause (like a cat rescue or some such). There is often not a way to verify that these funds are going to an appropriate place.
Even if legitimate and for a good cause, this is not the purpose of the subreddit and I do not want any users to feel obligated in any way to give money for any reason, thus these posts will now be banned.
Please message me or use the report function if you come across a post or comment asking for funds.
Thanks,
Boss Lady

Not even sure why anyone would do this, but I have had several reports of people stealing others' photos and passing the cats off as their own. Some are from bots, but others are clearly not. Please remember that karma is a fake internet invention. There is no need for impersonation. We are all just here to enjoy cats.
If you do this, you will be permanently banned :)
Have a nice day to you humans and your sassy tortico queens.

I posted almost 2 weeks ago now about my cat Gumby who i wasn't sure was a Torico or not. I tried adding them to the original post but wasn't able to so here she is. Is my Gumby a torico?

She's about 3 and a half years old, not the brightest, but is the most affectionate little thing.

Uwielbia sie przytulać i kocha wszystkich moich gości.
Jedyny problem to ekstremalne food insecurity. Niestety mimo regularnych i częstych posiłków Nami cały dzień jest w stanie poszukiwania pożywienia, co już raz skończyło się źle. Mam zabezpieczone wszystko w mieszkaniu, ale wypadła mi zatyczka do uszu i Nami ją w sekundę połknęła - musiałam biec do weterynarza żeby wywołali wymioty!

hi friends! i adopted this cutie pie last month, and she’s amazing. 2 years old, such a little sweetheart, loves cuddles, and she’s SO soft. i didn’t know tortico coloring was really a thing until i found this sub. man i love learning new things about cats!! so glad this sub exists, and i can show off my cute patoot little lady 💖 she’s my first cat of any tortie or calico coloring. my other two, my boys, are an orange tux and a snowshoe tabby. i’ve noticed that people are kinda funny most other places online about labeling a coat color “incorrectly,” so it’s good to know i have a good space that doesn’t appear to do that :) have a great day y’all! i’d love to see your kitties in the replies to this!!

We first saw this sweet angel with another cat last month on the first day of autumn. We named the other Spookster because she was all black. We were originally told they belonged to a neighbor but continued to see them outside. Well, Spookster stopped coming around which is very sad given the probable outcome. We saw Autumn again 2 days ago skinny as can be. We saved her and brought her in. We couldn’t stop thinking about her being out there all alone. Took her to the vet where she’s in pretty great shape besides an upper respiratory infection! She’s a little under a year old and unfortunately had kittens recently but no one that we’ve talked to in the neighborhood has seen or heard any. She also never led us to them. For now, she’s safe and sound, enjoying the indoor cat life. She’s so trusting and sweet!

Does the average tortico fear nothing?? I have had cats my whole life and never have I ever experienced such a brave and bold kitty.
This girl runs to the door before she even knows who’s there and welcomes anyone who enters. She isn’t even scared of the vacuum or garbage disposal meanwhile my other cat darts under the bed after any alarming sound.
She is also a little menace and will get into anything and everything such as the trash and shredding toilet paper like a dog.
I admire her confidence!

I've recently learned that both coats were a thing and wanted to know which my gumby counted as?
She likes lying in this terra cotta planter in the backyard
