I am so proud of you Toronto. We’re resisting Ford so much, it blew even my expectations away

Not my video, but this projection was spotted downtown last weekend.

The amount of resistance has been incredible. From the daily protests to the memorial, and now electing a ton of pro-bike councillors.

This Friday is our next critical mass. Gwendolyn Macewen Parkette at 6pm.

Please share so we can get a strong turnout!!

TIL: One of the side streets south of Bloor in Etobicoke doesn't even have a sidewalk.

Really shocking that if you told me this was in Toronto and around 5 km away from downtown, I wouldn't believe you. We all like to talk about bike lanes but man I can't imagine being a pedestrian walking on that road either lol. Guess this could be one of the reasons why people love their cars so much here. If you can't feel safe walking, why bother cycling?

Earlier today, I checked out the Bloor bike lane removal activity from Clissold to Royal York and documented the damage that has happened over the past couple of weeks on my blog. The fight's not over despite the removals.

Not the greatest shots as I was about to hop on the bus on the opposite side, but noticed crews setting up a whole load of pylons and then one of the single file signs heading eastbound at the corner of Lascelles where there is a completely separated lane.

As far as I know these lanes are not on any of the removal proposals so it's likely something else, but i wanted to flag it just in case.
