It is absolutely true that he sucked as a councilor. You don't deserve a promotion when you suck at your own job.
This guy was propped up by the privileged. He voted against taxing the richest luxury home tax in 2025 (7 out of 26 councilors) and still said he will not support taxing the richest. And guess how was he going to afford all the promises and revenue cuts? Cuts cuts cuts for services the middle and lower class rely on. He was NOT honest and always shady. Now his own constituents voted against him by large. It's proof that he did NOT and will not care about the people, not to mention the under privileged. It's all about his own power hunger and connections in the developer world including his very own privileged developer and lobbyist wife. Bye bye Brad!

Hey everyone, Just wanted to post a quick PSA and see if anyone else ran into this during the election yesterday, because I’m pretty sure an election worker messed up big time.
I went to vote around 11:00 AM yesterday at the St. Timothy Catholic School gym. When I walked over to feed my marked ballot into the tabulator, the worker stopped me and said I forgot to "initialize" it. They told me to go back to the table and write my own personal initials right on the ballot. I didn't think much of it in the moment, so I did it, and the tabulator accepted it.
Later, I realized no one else in my group was asked to do this. I looked up the Municipal Elections Act, and voters are absolutely NEVER supposed to put identifying marks on their ballots. It's actually the deputy returning officer who is supposed to authenticate the ballot with their initials.
By forcing me to put my own initials on it, they basically compromised the anonymity of my vote.
I’ve already emailed Toronto Elections so they know what happened at this polling station. But I’m curious—did anyone else run into this yesterday, either at St. Timothy or at another voting location?
Did my vote even count, or does an identifying mark like that automatically void the ballot?
