Advice Toddler not gaining weight
Hi everyone. I have a 16 month old who has barely gained any weight since turning a year old. Up until he turned 1 he was gaining weight at a very normal rate and since then it has kind of just plateaued around 10.3kg. He did start walking shortly after his 1st birthday and is an insanely active toddler. He is always climbing, running around and busy doing something so I’m not sure if he is just now burning extra calories? He has also had quite a growth spurt and gotten a lot taller and leaned out a fair bit. I’m just worried because he has never been a big eater. He is breast fed and has always preferred milk and I can probably count on one hand how many plates he has actually finished eating since he started solids. I’d be lucky if I can get him to eat a single decent meal a day, other than that he just picks at his food. He doesn’t look underweight by any means. He’s a happy and healthy looking boy so do I have any reason to be concerned? Is this typical around this age?

3 year old eating
Has anyones 3 year old been extremely difficult saying no to everything and barley wanting to eat? My 3 year old for the past 3 weeks has been eating such small amounts of everything and just not much appetite. Went to her peds dr and everything seemed fine. Is this a 3 year old phase where they barely eat when offered?

Advice Pancakes recipe that actually tastes good?
I tried a LOT of toddler healthy pancakes recipes and my son (23.mo) won't eat them. He literally spits them out. But he tried the eggo pancakes or premade frozen pancakes and he loves them. He keeps asking for pancakes every morning and crying when he doesn't get them. I really don't want to keep feeding him unhealthy pancakes if I have the option to make them at home especially because he wants them every morning!
Does anybody have a recipe that actually tastes good and he will eat? I'll keep trying lol

Chips for toddler
Daycare asked me to bring chips & dip to a party (must be store bought) but I thought chips were not considered safe until 4yo? Any alternatives to traditional potato/tortilla cjips that I could bring that still meet the ask? TIA

Advice How are you getting your toddlers to eat big breakfasts and then lunch?
My son has always a good lunch and a good dinner with a few snacks in between. But for breakfast he's just not very hungry.. he eats something but not that much.
Things he will eat : waffle with cream cheese and apple sauce, waffle with PB&J and apple sauce, pancakes, sometimes a yogurt , plain oatmeal . I follow all these moms on IG or even here on reddit and the toddlers for breakfast have eggs, sausages and fruit or just multiple things in general. I tried making that and my son didn't even touch it.
He's growing fine but is it just my son who has a little breakfast?

get more protein into your picky eaters
i’m NOT a mom. i’m just a sister to a really picky 9 year old, however i have pet quail. there eggs have a LOT of protein and vitamins in them. they have more protien by weight then chicken eggs, i’ve been using this tip with my grandma (our legal guardian) for the past month or so, without telling him what he’s eating and he’s gained weight already without us having to fight him to eat. just sneak the quail eggs into any meal instead of chicken ones. make sure that you’re using 3 quail eggs per chicken egg stated on the recipe or whatever recipe you’re using. pancakes, scrambled eggs, cakes, pasta, etc etc it works and quail eggs tend to taste better aswell.

Advice Need feedback on this wooden high chair
I've been looking for a wooden high chair for my baby. I keep coming back to this one. Its been on the market for some time now, but I rarely see anyone talking about it here which makes me a teensy bit unsure. I really like its wooden look and the fact that it converts [could be good for long term use]. On paper it feels like something we could use for years instead of just a short phase?
I am not looking for general high chair recs. I just want honest feedback from people who have used dinerpal high chair. How does it hold up over time? Does it feel stable? Any issues you noticed after real use?
I would love to hear real experiences, good or bad

Advice 14 month old not eating solids..
My baby girl completed 13 months and currently in her 14th month..she is hyper active , happy and completed her all milestones before time, currently having 9 teeth( including 1 molar) and i guess more teeth are on the way…My only issue is she’s still eating 1-2 bites solids in every meals..the only thing she is eating sometimes more is yogurt..Her weight was 8.8kg last month i have reduced her milk intake to 450-500ml ( pumped breast milk) ..I am worried to reduce more because of dehydration since she doesn’t drink water much (hardly 30-40ml) and whole milk is on hold because it disrupted iron absorption and she is already mot eating iron rich food..I am kind of stuck ..i am trying my best to transit her into solids but she is not ready…any idea what should i do? Or any cases where some babies starts eating late? Should i reduced milk to 300ml?

Fibs told by parents to their children
I once got my kids to eat a burned pizza by placing it in a skillet and telling them it’s pan fried.
The weird thing was they actually asked for pan fried pizza the very next evening.

Food: 2-3yrs Field trip lunches
My 2+ yr old is going on a field trip next week and needs a “disposable lunch”.
Seeing that she currently lives on strawberries, bread (she’s even selective on type of bread), and selected snacks, I’m at a loss for what to pack her.
What’s been successful or semi successful for your picky eater? Or toddler who survives on mostly air. I’d hate to make a decision about a field trip because of food.
