I run a small secular homeschool group, we managed to get a donation of rough cut lumber to put in raised garden beds but so far haven't had any luck with local governments between archdale and Thomasville trying to find a willing partner.

Does anyone have any other ideas other than the local government?

I live in East Davidson. I want to follow trash pickup rules and best practices but I don’t know what they are exactly.

Bags of acorns okay?
Plastic bin of acorns not okay?
Small dog poop bags not okay?
Big bag full of small bags of dog poop okay?

The guys work hard and I don’t want to make them angry. The county website is not very helpful.
