Folgers Incest Commercial - Extended Cut

If you are not watching Gordo's Tuesday night Twitch stream, you are really missing out.

These are always hilarious and insightful, often with special guests Monty, Donnie, Jub, or Snake.

On tonights episode, we got the World Premier of Gordo's interview with Kristen Bell and the cast of her Netflix show "Nobody Wants This."

We also got the backstory of his trip, and learned that one of the cast members was involved in the cringy Folger incest commercial (extended version attached).

Monty then joined and we learned about his herioics saving babies stuck in trees. Then Gordon and Monty developed an idea to trick Kevin James into an on-air interview by telling Kevin that Monty's surviving brother, Nonty, is now dying and his last wish is to talk to Kevin James.

Gordo's Hollywood Interview

Did anyone watch Gordon's Twitch tonight? If so, did he say where we can see the whole interview he did with Kristen Bell and the cast of her show?

Yes, I do wish we knew. No, I don't want to watch it on a sweater.

Davey Lane Appreciation Post

This is short and sweet. Like Monty, Davey Lane makes every show better and more enjoyable. He was on the postgame show last night. He has great chemistry with Donovan. And most importantly, he made McClearin less McClearin and actually…..wait for it….likable. More Davey with the Invasion.

Old Brewers/Cardinals WS Audio

The Brewers doing so well in the World Series has made me nostalgic for old audio. Something about Yasser Arafat and Phyllis Diller. Does anyone else remember?

The Ticket's greatest storyteller strikes again!!!

Matt’s son got his learner’s permit.

  • Matt is still trying to wrap his head around how getting a driver’s license works these days.
  • His son has an app that tells him what he needs to do.
  • He had to take tests and passed everything to get his permit.
  • Now he has to log 44 hours of driving in the app, with parental approval.
  • 34 hours have to be regular driving, and 10 have to be at night.
  • He also needs 5 hours of instruction and 5 hours of observation.
  • Yesterday, Matt let his son drive him around for a full hour.
  • Matt explained that driving on the street is different from driving in a parking lot.
  • They drove around Lake Dallas and Corinth.
  • Matt didn’t want him on Swisher, which turns into El Dorado, but eventually let him drive on it briefly.
  • They started on neighborhood roads with four-way stops, red lights, and stuff.
  • His son’s turns were a little wide, and Matt wished he had a “chicken brake.”
  • Matt kept telling him to go “smooth, smooth” on the turns.
  • Matt realized it’s hard to explain driving because it’s something you do automatically.
  • There were several nerve-racking moments.
  • Sometimes there were cars in the neighboring lane, so Matt explained why his son couldn’t make wide turns and hit them.
  • He explained how much pressure to use on the accelerator and brake.
  • He explained that you let off the brake when turning and gently accelerate through the turn.
  • Despite all the nerve-racking moments, his son did really well.
  • Matt explained that you have to nitpick with your kids, especially when it comes to driving.
  • His son takes driving very seriously.
  • Matt got upset when his son adjusted his seat.
  • His son explained he needed to adjust it so he could see better.
  • Matt sits low in his seat and keeps his steering wheel low because he sometimes drives with his knees.
  • At one point, a car made a U-turn right in front of them, and Matt yelled, “Watch out!”
  • Matt used this to explain that other drivers sometimes do unexpected things.
  • Matt also made sure to mention that he can turn his car with his knees.
  • Matt realized he’ll eventually need to get his son onto busier roads.
  • He then explained that freeways are more dangerous because cars travel faster than they do on side streets.

Thank you Matt, for not leaving out ANY details from your stories....

Ron Washington Audio

I need help finding audio from Ron Washington back in the day when he said “never know what a booty hole gonna do in the spotlight”.

Do any of yall have that audio or a link to it? I feel like I heard it on The Ticket so many times. Went to theunticket and it’s down for the time being.

I feel like I’m getting the Mandela Effect from remembering hearing it said so many times but online it says it was never audio, only a quote from him.

Thanks for the help

Ticket Podcasts “I DONT WANT AUDIO”

I have an idea for The Ticket brass that I know cruise through this Reddit page. I don’t need any credit or payment for this genius idea, just make it happen Cat.

This could even be something they do on air and just have it uploaded to “All That Implies.” One segment, on either The Hardline or The Musers revisiting classic audio. Old bits, old shows or old ebrakes or all of the above. Play the audio then discuss and/or telling stories about it. The station has too much classic audio to just leave behind. Especially since I never heard Rotten Radio.

One question for those that are on the know, are they not able to play old Dan and Jake audio because of the lawsuit and IP?

Always good to see Corby and Dave amongst the true P1s! Sounds like the GB trip was a blast. Very cool that so many of us traveled up there. This is why I love the ticket

Troy vs Joe

That set up question by George to start the show makes me think Troy wanted it go out exactly that way to help his negotiations. And to make sure people know he’s not happy with Joe. The Musers never come in that hot with questions for Troy.

Now that Sportsgreek is gone…

I have the SportsDay App and listen when I can, but I do shift work and it’s rare I have the time.

I’ll hang up and listen.

Matt's crazy story with a payoff you won't believe!

Matt's son had a basketball tournament for his AAU team on Saturday. They both wanted to make it home in time for the TX/OU game.

Luckily for us, Matt did not leave out a single detail of this crazy story...

  • His son's game was running a little ahead of schedule
  • His son's was the last game to tip off for the day
  • It was scheduled to start at 1:50
  • His son has tournaments all over the place, but luckily this one was in Denton, literally 10 minutes from home
  • A lot of the parents were wearing TX/OU stuff
  • The game was using a running clock, but Matt didn't know why
  • When halftime was over, they started the second half
  • Somehow, somebody realized after 3 minutes that they had forgotten to start the clock
  • Everybody started screaming, "Start the clock! Start the clock!"
  • So after the game ended, they jumped in the car and zipped home
  • Matt noted that he had the game recorded
  • Kickoff was at 2:45 and they walked in the door at 2:48, just 3 MINUTES after kickoff

The payoff to the story is that, even though it really didn't matter because he had the game recorded, if that clock stoppage hadn't happened, they would have walked into the house EXACTLY at kickoff!!
