I'm determined to finish a book.
I keep starting books and getting bored and moving on and now I'm 5 books behind in my goodreads challenge.
I have 6 books on my currently reading list and I must finish one.

I’m four books behind because I took a weirdly long time to finish the book version of Howl’s Moving Castle and it set me back really hard 😭
Also I’m really nervous about counting manga for whatever reason, I’m not sure if they count or not lol

You didn’t even wait until he was finished. He goes on to point out his physio has only been on his team for two weeks and said “don’t go and ask for a raise now. This has nothing to do with you.” Even as a joke, it’s tone deaf and rude. Physio looked sad afterwards. What an unlikable guy.

Today’s Jess adventure: had to go to Sydney for a game show audition. Already running late. Blew a tyre in the carpark 30 minutes away from the audition. It’s still there and I’m going to get on Tipping Point if it kills me.

So I was watching The Testaments week after week and (SPOILER ALERT) there is this flashback scene where Aunt Lydia and other women, most middle-aged, pre-Gilead were rounded up in a tennis stadium that I thought could be Arthur Ashe, maybe not though
And that led me to think what happens to tennis and US Open in Gilead?

The weekly is for everything non-related to tennis, you can post it here! But anyway they would be preoccupied with defending their 'territory' and busy subjugating women there is absolutely no need for tennis tbh

I do it mostly cos my old car freaked out and thought it was a person if there was weight on the seat. It started beeping with the seatbelt sign.

Omg I finally finished reading this book over the weekend and in the last 150 pages or so things really heated up I was invested. It was so good and I’m ready to start reading the next book in the series soon 🤩

Anyone else absolutely over, like seriously over the proliferation of ChatGPT thumbnails spreading all over YouTube? Even the well-meaning smaller content creators are using it because of course it saves time and it's easier....but they're so freaking ugly. I'll take your shoddier self-created thumbnails over something that's extremely saturated and butchered by ChatGPT.
