Hey everyone, I’m Surya, and I work on recruiting at Phraze Translation. We’re building our Telugu–English translator network, and the r/telugu mods okayed this post.

We’re looking to evaluate roughly 40 fluent Telugu speakers through a paid, remote selection process.

The first stage is a 2-week paid trial of about 5 flexible hours/week. Participants can earn up to ₹3,200 for completed and approved work and receive an individual translation performance report.

The tasks involve natural Telugu translation, conversational language, idioms, localization, cultural expressions, and language data used for multilingual AI.

The strongest performers may be invited to our ongoing translator network, where certain projects can pay up to ~$30/hour depending on the project and level of responsibility. Ongoing work isn’t guaranteed.

You don’t need to be a professional translator. Native/fluent Telugu + strong English matters more.

There’s no application fee.

నేను పోయిన ఏడాది నుండి తెలుగులో టైప్ చేస్తున్నాను. దాని కోసం ఫోన్లో అయితే గూగుల్ జిబోర్డుని, విండోస్లో అయితే ఫోనెటిక్ IMEని (అంటే abc -> తెలుగు; ఉదా: namaskaram అని టైప్ చేస్తే నమస్కారం అవ్వటం) వాడే వాడిని. 3 నెలల క్రితం ఇన్స్క్రిప్ట్ (InScript) ఎలా వాడాలో నేర్చుకున్నాను. వాడేటప్పుడు పూర్తి కంట్రోల్ మన చేతిలోనే ఉంటుంది కాబట్టి నాకు బాగా నచ్చింది. ఫోన్లో కూడా తెలుగు కీఓబోర్డ్ వాడటం నేర్చుకున్నాను. కానీ అవి IME తో పోలిస్తే చాలా నెమ్మదిగా టైప్ చెయ్యాల్సి వస్తుంది.

మీ అందరూ ఏమి వాడుతున్నారో తెలుసుకుందాం అని అనుకున్నాను. అందరిలో ఏది ఎక్కువగా వాడతారో దానికే ప్రాధాన్యత ఇద్దామని అనుకుంటున్నాను.
