This was easily one of the most heartbreaking Gaming journeys I have ever put myself through. I played every game in order and the Final Season destroyed me. After playing these amazing games It still makes no sense how Telltale went Bankrupt.

I think he really liked the series because he finishes all 4 twd seasons without sleeping, playing constantly.

Though,i feel like he should've gone to sleep because he didn't had the energy for reaction after he finished the first season(for example when a character died).

But it was fun to watch,i can't blame his decisions because this is the walking dead.

This season was straight garbage, I didn’t like the idea of the school and Clem magically surviving. If you liked everything about this season yet you hate on season 3 you def have some screws loose.

TWD Skybound and Telltale might be close to announcing a new Walking Dead game.

To start this theory off, it is a fact that last year Skybound had been looking to find a Senior Franchise Producer through a job listing on LinkedIn for an unannounced project, going by it's description, a pretty big franchise.

The link to the short of youtuber DomTheBomb describing the job listing:

https://youtu.be/78Ago94QaFg

And here is a post from r/GamingLeaksAndRumours about Telltale games contacting influencers and media groups about a The Wolf Among Us 2 campaign.

The link to the reddit post talking about the rumour:

https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/comments/1lqzp9g/extas1s_ive_learned_that_telltale_games_is/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

You would see from this post that, this rumour ultimately was false. There was no media campaign for The Wolf Among Us 2 on the latest of October 2025. But I believe this post contains a half truth, Telltale had been contacting influencers and media groups about creating a campaign to build hype among fans old and new, not for TWAU2 for whatever reason though, but for a new Walking Dead game. So who other than one of the biggest content creators out right now than IShowSpeed to do a marathon of the mainline games, and to create new fans of the series? There are some holes to this part of the theory, because IShowSpeed has probably done a ton of marathons playing a ton of games without the creators/owners of said game paying him to play it, what's there to prove that this marathon was orchestrated by Telltale and not just fan requested?

There is almost nothing to prove this, but there was something that caught my eye while watching these marathon streams. If you search the second video of the marathon where Speed plays Season 2 and ANF, and go to the timestamp 0:38, Speed's brother Jamal starts talking to the chat after they requested for Speed to play 400 days. Jamal basically said they weren't gonna do it, but he understands why since they are cannon. Though that's not the interesting part, the interesting part starts at 0:53 where he says "it's not my decision, i don't kno-i don't make the rules anything" and then 20 something seconds later he promptly leaves the stream.

So it was decided beforehand what games Speed was going to play, which makes sense that research was going to go into that considering the series has so many games, but for whatever reason IShowSpeed and his team left out 400 Days and the Michonne season even when they knew they were cannon to the story.

Short side tangent that ties back to the theory, I believe it's a widely popular take that 400 days sucked because of season 2.

**Some Spoilers for 400 days**

400 days in itself is actually pretty nice, the pacing and the structure of the story being this anthology that would **actually** affect what characters would appear in the second season is a cool, if not an awesome idea, but it ultimately wasn't the case, resulting in 400 days being viewed as a disappointment even when it wasn't it's fault. Thus resulting in Telltale to inform Speed's media group to not include it in the marathon.

(It makes more sense why the Michonne season wasn't included in the marathon, since it didn't include Clementine or any other character from the mainline series in it but that's neither here nor there).

Was it a freudian slip from Jamal or just me being schizo? Only time will tell.

Assuming that Skybound and Telltale is making this game, even though I would personally want them to keep the final season, the **final** season of Clementine, it is exciting to see this genre finally make a comeback in one way or another. Who knows maybe it could be a whole different story instead of bringing Clementine back (i hope).

TWD What went wrong with TWD S2?

There’s a lot of points to bring up, but this season felt like the writers or creative directors were fighting on what they want for the game instead of one clear vision. Plus there’s like a lot of cut content that scrapped in the last second or never made it to the final draft.

TWD TWD Season 2 is so much worse than I remember

So I bought the definitive edition of the game that contains all the seasons of TWD. I finished replaying S1 a few days ago and started S2 quickly after. I must say it's so, so much worse than I remember.

At first, from a writing standpoint, S2 is an abysmall downgrade compared to it's predecessor. It's crazy to me how literal ADULTS make an 11 year old girl feel bad because she didn't risk her life to save a full grown man. Or the fact that they treat her like another adult they just stumbled upon. Like bro, she's literally a kid why is a pregnant woman discussing her marriage problems and complains to her every step of the way?

I understand that clementine is the protagonist now and she needs to be at the center but come on man, you could've made it more believable. A group of adults can't depend on a child for what to do and how to act in the apocalypse.

I just feel like that it's such a dip in quality compared to the previous season. I don't know if it's worth another 6 hours of my life to get through.

Do the next seasons get better? Is it worth pushing through for Season 3 and 4?

Lastly, what's your guys' opinion on Season 2?

TWD For all the black and brown fans of TWD Telltale, what are your thoughts on later seasons after season 1?

Berleezy TWD playthrough watcher here.
I genuinely love the first season, the OG, the one that started everything. What really caught my attention was the true diverse story telling. The main lead is a black man whose character have immense emotional depth. He was portrayed in the most beautiful way possible - imperfect, with a kind and strong heart.

The second lead Clementine is a levelheaded, braver-than-her-age black girl who was cute and childlike at the same time. She is neither infantilized nor make to be older for her age. The perfect balance.

Honorary mention is: 1. Christa and Omid interracial relationship between a black and persian character, which is one of the few interracial couples I have seen in American entertainment in general that did not feature a white person in the mix and 2. Kenny and his family being the classic white trash archetype but their portrayal is still done well, which you don't often see even in mainstream media.

However, I never liked any season like season 1 again for one simple reason: they all fell right back into selective storytelling that centers white people.

Season 2 main story leads were Kenny and Jane, who are both white. Yes Clementine is the player perspective, but the ones who called the shots were ultimately Kenny and Jane. Kenny's South Asian girlfriend never really had a presence, and we mostly know her as his girlfriend, compared to Katya who we get to know as a compassionate teacher and mother.

Similarly, there was a character, Mike, who was a black man but compared to Lee, he was just a prop. He literally adds nothing to the story, and there was no point having him there. Unlike in season 1, all characters, no matter how brief their appearance were, all served a purpose.

Does Telltale know that making a white-centered character line up and adding some black and asian NPC characters in the background doesn't make a diverse story?

Season 3 was the most ridiculous to me. They make the white girl, what, Bella, to be this subject of desire within a love triangle of two Latino brothers, as if 1. Javier couldn't find ANY other person to be with, 2. Bella was a cheater and groomer and homie hopper weirdo and 3. they can't introduce a Latina women in the mix.

Not to mention the hot Asian nurse at the start who flirted with Javier, why did they make her an evil character and also to have her in a relationship with the buff white guy that she don't even like? Compared to Christa and Omid who were the healthiest and happiest interracial couple, even had a baby together, and none where white.

If you want white characters in the mix so bad, at least give them a decent character arc or some sort. It's always some BS happening.

And before some white person read this and think "you're being racist to white people" 🙄 - I enjoyed all the white characters in season 1, they were portrayed accurately like how white people actually are. The later seasons portray what white people THINK or WISH they were, which is always to be the main character or main subject of a story.

I genuinely wondered what happened in the writers room for them to switch up the narrative completely and regressed back to these tropes. Some things I would have rewrote instead:

- Instead of just Kenny, it's Glenn and Kenny coming back. And Glenn will be the shot caller to tell his story of finding his family all on his own while still surviving. No point in Kenny having a GF.

- Instead of selfish Jane and her fk ahh haircut, give me a black female lead who will play a motherly/sisterly role to Clementine and make up for the cold heartbroken Christa at the start.

- The Asian nurse should have been a protagonist instead, and make her Javier's love interest. We already have so much white female lead, does it hurt to have one Asian female lead, and to have her in a couple with someone not white? And while at that, make her a complex character and have them have a fulfilling, healthy relationship with no grooming or coercion.
